Wall Doctor had a fairly large job to do in our hundred year old house. They tore down the old cracked plaster ceiling and some walls, then added new insulation and new drywall. Next they sanded and painted everything. We had to do it in 2 stages as we were doing our entire upstairs (3 rooms, washroom & hallway). In the process we realized we also had to redo our door frames. We were very pleased with everything. The guys were always very respectful and professional. They would show up every day at 8am and work until 4 or 5, even sometimes later. They tried to minimize mess with an enclosure and then would do a larger clean each week. The final bill was almost exactly the same as we had been quoted originally. In the end everything looks new, fresh, and nice and they even followed up after to see if any touch ups were needed.

We called The Wall Doctor for various issues and have been very pleased with all of the work completed. From our project manager, Chris, to the office assistant, Penelope, to the rest of the trades working in our house, they have been nothing but wonderful to deal with.

We found the Wall Doctor from searching on Google and Home Stars. The project was to Overboard an existing lathe and plaster ceiling in our sons bedroom and install drywall over two of the existing walls (previously lathe and plaster)

While we received several quotes for this project, the Wall Doctor was the only company that physically sent someone over to look at the project, take measurements, etc. prior to providing a quote. This added to our comfort level that the price when finished would be close to the quoted price - which it was). I should also add that the price we paid the Wall Doctor to complete the work was also competitive with all other quotes and a fair price for the work required. That with the positive reviews and reputation led us to proceed with The Wall Doctor.

The whole process was very seamless, from the point we requested a quote onwards, quick communication, etc. Hafeez and Rasit were very professional and clearly great at what they do. We were very happy with the results, quality seems great, it was quick, clean, etc.

The Wall Doctor team tackled the drywalling stage of our basement renovation diligently and in a timely manner. All of the members of the team were approachable and receptive to our feedback and suggestions. Our project manager, Chris, was here on and off throughout the project to ensure everything went smoothly and personally took care of all of the touch-ups necessary at the final stages to ensure we were satisfied with the final outcome. They also kept the drywall dust and mess to a minimum and tidied up after themselves very nicely. No signs of mess in the rest of the house, which was really great given how many times we had been told drywall can be extremely messy. Thanks!

We were impressed with the work carried out by the folks at the Wall Doctor. They were courteous, transparent, and punctual, each day showing up on time and working consistently. There were a few hiccups along the way because of the age of our house, but they helped us problem solve and figure out the most cost effective way to complete the work. We felt well looked after by everyone at the company.

I contacted The Wall Doctor about repairing drywall damage in one of our skylights. They promptly replied to my request for a quote.

The location of the damage made it somewhat awkward to repair. The team was professional, friendly, and prompt. Before starting, they fully protected the work area and did an excellent job repairing and painting the skylight, bringing it back to good as new condition. When finished, the team vacuumed and fully cleaned the work area.

I felt the price was fair for the job that was required and would use The Wall Doctor again.

These guys are great. They did excellent work, kept the work area clean (as much as could be expected for plaster work, at least), and were very friendly.

There are only a few (but essential) things you really look for in a contractor, and in my opinion those are:

* Is the price they quoted what I ended up paying?
* Is that price fair?
* Did they do a good job / where they professional?
* Did they clean up?

The Wall Doctor hit on all fronts. The quote they gave me was exactly what I ended up paying (to the penny). The price was at or below other quotes I received for the same work. The crew did an excellent job repairing the dry wall areas in my home and had a customer service rep keep me updated on progress. And, they cleaned up the area when they were done. I mean, what more can you ask for?

We had a new exterior door and frame installed in an 85 year old house. Some of the old plaster fell apart during the door install. I contacted the Wall Doctor who provided quote quickly. The work was done soon after I agreed to the quote. The Wall Doctor worker who repaired the plaster around our doorway did an excellent job.
