We have been a customer for 3 years and decided to cancel this year as we haven’t seen any improvements. When I originally registered with hometurf I let the employee know that we had a lot of weeds in our backyard and wondered if this service would be enough. They assured me that I would see significant improvement over a couple of years. Unfortunately, this has not been the case. We have also spent countless hours each year pulling weeds ourselves in addition to their service and still no difference. I have noticed after the weed control is applied it really only works on about 5% of the weeds in our yard. I am not sure if that is because their technicians are not thorough enough when spraying or just the effectiveness of the product. After 3 years of service I didn't expect to have a yard full of weeds, clovers and crab grass. We also saw no difference when they applied the fertilizer, aeration and over seeding if anything the yard looks worse. I contacted them before I canceled with my concerns and I never received a response. They also charged me about half the cost of the entire year's services for just the 2 treatments they applied this year when I decided to cancel. The only positive thing I have to say is that they showed up for each application.
