Do Not Recommend At ALL

Used these guys based on reputation, huge mistake. $10,000, years later, pending lawsuit and basement is still leaking. Quoted me entire side of house for a basement leak in the back corner. Didn't fix the problem. Took months to get them back after I had installed new carpet and was doing landscaping work in backyard. Finally came to do the back of the house but didn't wrap the corner and still have a leak. Asked them to do the right thing and fix it but they gave me another large estimate. I'd already paid over $10k so far , won't pay another penny for leak that's still there. Now I have damaged carpet/walls, black mold, I'm out $10 grand and still have water in my basement!
I highly recommend you NOT use them.

Company Response

As the owner, It hurts to see a bad review. Unfortunately, this client decided to write a negative review rather than call and talk to me. We do appreciate the business from this client unfortunate he wanted us to do more work for free and threatened us if we do, he will trash us online and take us to court. If you are reading this review, its good information to know for when you have your basement waterproofed.
When we visit a worksite, we ask the customer where it is leaking and discuss how to fix it. The ideal scenario would be to waterproof the entire house and have it watertight for a lifetime. Unfortunately, not everyone's pocketbook can afford such a costly repair. So, between the customer and RCC rep, we produce a plan together to fix what’s leaking based on what the customer has experienced and explains to us and what we can see and our experience. In this case, we did one wall. And then a month later the customer had a leak on another wall. We did this wall at a significant discount because he was a returning customer. Then a year later the customer finds another leak on another wall. Always keep in mind that the walls waterproofed did not leak. The customer at this point has landscaped the property and has another leak. We understood his frustration, but this leak has nothing to do with the original work. We tried to work with him on solutions with work being done at cost but the customer wanted nothing to do with it and only said that if we don’t fix for free he would trash us online and sue us. Obviously we do not want an upset customer however we can not do a job for free.

So that’s where this takes us now.  I wish he would have reached out to me as we could have talked things out. I suggest this to anyone going online and writing reviews before talking to an owner or President of a company. I make myself available to my customers at all times of the day. In the end, I just want customers to have a dry basement with a happy experience with our firm and its employees. I hope this response helps you with your decision to hire a waterproofing company or any contractors. When making your decision on waterproofing your home it's important to know that waterproofing a part of a house will not make another part leak and if you only repair a small section or wall of your home keep in mind that the rest of the house's foundation is same age so it is probably a matter of time that there will be more leaks. If your planning on finishing your basement make sure the home is completely waterproofed. It is the most important step of a basement reno. Or if you are doing landscaping outside be sure to waterproof your home first whether it leaks or not because you wouldn’t want to remove new landscaping if you have a leak down the road.

Thank you for taking the time to read this response and I hope this helps your waterproof venture with whoever it may be but I hope it's with us because we will be here today and tomorrow.
