I purchased my second home with confidence because after working with Taras and the team at Double T Contracting Inc. I knew the work that needed to be done was going to be done well! This is the second time I've worked with Taras on a reno project and after my positive first experience, this project was much larger in scope and included a kitchen and bathroom renovation, new flooring and more.
Working with Taras is very easy - he is very transparent and responsive - clearly identifying his scope, what will be included in his estimates, timelines and what I would need to supply. If I had a question or was looking for a recommendation from Taras, he was always very informative and happy to provide some guidance based on his experience. As a young homeowner, it was crucial to have someone I could trust.
He helped make our kitchen and bathroom reno easy by providing detailed designs and a shopping list. He and his team never took shortcuts and always delivered quality workmanship. Our new floors and staircase look absolutely beautiful because they strategically planned where to place panels based on length and detail. We now also have a kitchen I've always dreamed of! They transformed our dated kitchen and overbearing pantry to a modern and airy space for cooking and entertaining.
The bathroom was originally a hole in the wall - an old long tiled, dark room with a shabby toilet and pedestal sink. Now I can comfortably bathe my toddler in a beautiful and clean space.
The team also stuck to their timelines and while we moved out during the project, neighbors constantly told us that the team was working from 8am until 5 or 6. We didn't have to babysit them at all. I would highly recommend Taras and his team and look forward to working with him again when we're ready to renovate our basement.
