We had been putting off a much needed bathroom update for far too long for fear of the certain disruption, discomfort and mess it would surely cause. I met briefly with Cora at HD on Cambie and explained my concerns. She said I had nothing to worry about and she was right! A day or so after we met, she arranged for a contractor from Blue Ocean to call and come for a visit to scope out the project. The contractor quoted +/- $13K, depending on fittings and finishes, and said he could start immediately. We gave him the green light and about three weeks later, the work was complete. We are absolutely delighted with the workmanship, quality, timeliness and professionalism provided by the Blue Ocean team. What we really appreciated was the transparency and efficiency of the process, quality of the work (performed by licensed tradespeople), the courteous and polite manner of the entire team, the daily clean-up of materials (we lived comfortably, despite the central location of worksite), and perhaps most-importantly, the accuracy of the budget estimate. We would not hesitate to recommend Blue Ocean to anyone considering such a project.
