On arrival the technician was more interested in going through his company fixed pricing sheet than listening to me about what I thought the problem may be and getting to work diagnosing the problem. I experienced the same feeling over the phone booking the appointment where the person on the phone was more concerned about telling me their pricing method than booking the service and just informing me of their mimnimum call out fee and what it would include regarding my problem. Instead they wanted to tell me about their exrensive house plumbing check that was included in their call out fee.
In short the work was done but I felt that I was being screwed price wise as I was constantly quoted price ahead of the diagnostic work
being completed. At the end of it all the full house inspection included one last sale pitch for a drain clog treatment chemical at what I am sure is a at an inflated price
Advice would be to show up concerned about diagnosing the problem the customer is concerned about ahead off presenting the price book listing a bunch of options that may or may not be needed
