We chose Assiniboine because our experience with the estimator Brandon was good, but found that communication from the PM was lacking. I've already contacted customer service and they suggested a way to fix the issue.

We do apologize for any miscommunications and are currently working to create better processes so that these types of situations do not arise in the future. Poor communication

Landscape Lighting review in Calgary

We chose Assiniboine because our experience with the estimator Brandon was good, but the rest of the experience was not so I'd like to share that here.

We suggested a different rock for our walkway thinking we could improve on the colour and the project manager agreed without saying a word or providing an opinion on the matter. Since the installation we have noticed that the rock isn't great to walk on, and after doing some basic research we discovered that this rock isn't meant for walk ways at all and shouldn't be used that way. I am really disappointed that the PM failed to point this out up front.

The PM was also really poor at communicating during the process as to when the work would be performed. We were really concerned when we saw the way our balcony was supported and expected he would be back on Friday to finish the job. I reached out to him to understand the situation, but he didn't respond. Our balcony had a tiny wood block supporting just the edge of the middle post for the entire weekend without a single comment from the PM letting us know if it's safe or when the rest of the job will be completed. Needless to say we stayed off of the balcony as a precaution and had to explain to our guests why they couldn't go there as well.

There was no final walk through when the work was done, only the PM asking basically how it looks. It looks good, but I didn't anticipate this kind of issue. If I had, I would have actually walked on it at that time to check.

I've already contacted customer service and they suggested a new estimate for more work to fix the issue.
