When we were getting estimates to finish our basement, AGM came recommended, and after having gotten other quotes as well, was ultimately who we contracted. While there were some difficulties in the beginning trying to work through the contract based on the estimate as well as perfecting the layout and design, I think anyone who has ever been through a reno (of any kind) can say that one must be prepared for some complications, changes and unexpected issues.
Having said that, everyone we have dealt with at AGM has been very pleasant to deal with and are always willing to take care of any concerns or questions. All the tradesmen that have come in have all been polite, professional and have done a fantastic job! But the one person I am most thankful for throughout this process is our PM, and I am not referring to our Prime Minister, but to our project manager, Johnny. In my opinion, he didn't just do his job. In fact, he didn't even just do it well. Johnny went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations in making sure that things went smoothly, according to plan and that we were happy with everything. I didn't have to worry about anything knowing he was taking care of it all, and he did. AGM is lucky to have him and so were we. If you are as lucky and get him as your PM, rest assured you will be in good hands.
