Was initially impressed with this company based on limited interaction with them during pre-inspection energy audit. Since then, the experience dramatically deteriorated to point where I would caution against hiring Home Energy Consulting, unfortunately.

Mike & Home Energy Consulting came to do an energy savings baseline. He showed up early and went straight to work. Process took about 2 hours total for outside and inside.
In the process he alerted us to possible asbestos situation that we were not aware of, and this was a day before we were scheduled for demolition! This allowed us to avert a potentially dangerous situation for us and our contractors.
Mike's site http://homeenergyconsulting.ca also offers a lot of free information on how to maximize your energy savings, current energy rebates/tax credits, assistance programs, other renovation/upgrade tips etc. organized in one place and makes gathering this information so much more convenient.
I would recommend Mike's services as he is open, honest, informative, and a nice person to deal with.
