Post Renovation "clean"

STAY AWAY FROM ASPENCLEAN if you are going to be hiring them to do a post renovation/construction clean, a service which they advertise they are "experts" in. We hired Aspen to clean the day before we moved in, explaining that we had just finished renovating our home. Everything seemed ok until we went to check out the property after they had cleaned and left. I don't want to say the place was a disaster but after quoting us almost $700 I was shocked to see the condition of the home. (Please note my home is 1300-1400 square feet, and has 1 bathroom)
DUST was still everywhere!!! Window sills were not wiped down, the posts going up the stairs, which were supposed to be white, had a layer of saw dust. Clearly they had not been touched. Cabinets interiors were not wiped down, appliances had finger prints all over them. The laundry machines were covered in dust, and garbage was still on the floor. Every room we went into still and layers of dust as if it was ignored. It looked closer to its original state than a clean one.
The floors were the best part of it all. Clearly the water they used to mop the floors was never changed and literal dirty, brown streaks were all over the hardwood floors through out the house. Bedrooms, living room, dining room, you name it. Dirty water streaks everywhere.

I promptly contacted Aspen and sent pictures of the condition of the house. They apologized and said this is not the norm and that they would send another crew out.

Crew #2
They brought a vacuum that looked to be out of the 1980s. It looked like a plastic turtle with a long neck handle that they just pulled around, across hardwood floors, into baseboards, and off the walls. The clunky machine did wonders for our original hardwood floors that we just sanded and stained. Scratches only make it look better. Everyone wants that scratched hardwood these days!

Even better was the fact that by the time Crew #2 arrived we had already moved in and so there were only narrow lane ways to clean again and after unloading 2 moving trucks access to clean the entire house was limited. They left again, leaving my best friend dust behind and that was that.

We moved in unpacked and hired a professional company to come and clean the home. They did a fantastic job and you can find them right here on HomeStars ;)

I later again followed up with AspenClean and they explained to me that there was just too much Dust to clean. So essentially my point and the service you get from AspenClean is that we will clean your post construction home, until we our allotted time is up, and than we will leave it as is and charge you $700 anyways. Here is what they wrote:
"From the discussion with our first and second team, there are dry wall dust that got into the hardwood floors and makes it very hard and time consuming to clean.

We provide estimate base on the size of the home without seeing the condition of the home. 4 hours were booked for the cleaning and it wasn’t sufficient to de dust the whole home."

The first team reported the problem, and the company still could not prepare the second team to handle the job.

I explained that I am still unhappy and they suggested I hire them to clean again, and they will graciously give me a $20 discount. I was more insulted by this than satisfied.

At this point I was asked what would make me happy. So I explained that I am going to be finishing a basement reno, and that if they really can handle these post reno jobs than they should come and clean my basement and we can see if they truly are the "experts" they claim they are.
I was than told that they will not do this, but they will come and mop my floors again upstairs. A service which is no longer needed after living in the home for almost 2 weeks.

We are now where we are and I feel I should worn potential customers about this before they pay $700 for the cleaning of a 1300-1400 Square foot home, with 1 bathroom.

Please I urge you do not use this company at all!!!!!!! Hire a professional company. Save yourself the time, money, and headache.
