Underpinning work amazing

I originally rated Tall Basements very low due to a lack of communication on the job and running weeks behind schedule. But, since writing that, Kevin reached out to us and made amends for everything we felt that was left unfinished. We really appreciated that.

As for the underpinning work, they did an amazing job, 10 out of 10. They worked quickly, kept everything clean and organized, and we were happy that the dumpster was removed at the end of each day. We were extremely pleased with the end result. We finally have the basement we dreamed of thanks to Kevin and his team!

Lack of communication

I would not recommend Tall Basements to anyone, which is a shame because they actully did a fantastic job on our underpinning. But the lack of communication was awful. Everything was running smoothly for 3 weeks, then they completely disappeared for 3 weeks, would not return our phone calls or emails. We assumed they started another job and no longer cared about us. They finally came in and completed most of the work 3 weeks after it was supposed to be done. In the end, they never installed our sump pump (it was in the contract) never came to return our house keys or pick up items they left behind, despite us sending emails asking about this. We should never have paid them in full until the job was done. Would not recommend them to anyone.
