Duct Cleaning review in Calgary

I called AFC for a duct cleaning in July 2014, everything was ok. In late October, early November we noticed that in one of the rooms the vent is not blowing any air. (we know if worked before because before buying the house we had it inspected). I called AFC to see if someone would come and have a lookk and they said it will cost me $180/hour because they guarantee their work only for 30 days... that means I lost my waranty in August when I did not use my furnace not even once... Does AFC suggest that people should clean their ducts in December so they notice right away if their house is freezing and call them right away?
I will not use their services ever again.
