New Windows & Bugs Bugs Bugs Edited: discolouration
These windows such a disappointment for months ive been trying to figure out why the earwigs, stink bugs, etc are able to get through the screens. Since this is a new home build i was surprised by the owners lack of care about it. I've since added mini screens to both the 'water drains' of which i could easily put an object through before. And after several calls/emails to find out if i may have missing pieces or that something is wrong with the windows, and to be to busy for asking. I gave up. I also visited other window manufacturers and found our investment of over 20,000+ is a joke. Fast forward a couple of months and what i have to do now, is spray pest barrier to stop the invasion. Septemeber 2, 2014: Today i went to open a bathroom window only to find two flies between the screen an window. It appears the bugs get in between the screen and the flashing as the screens are not tight fitting.
Edited September 4th, 2014. I've added a photo of just a couple of flies. But in this window alone there are 6. I can't open the windows in the fall now. Sad after all the money we paid.
