Wayne and his crew worked efficiently and professionally on our 4,000 square foot yard in July 2013. They started on time and finished on time. We were happy with how things looked for the most part. Then we discovered that the crew left behind a stack of pallets and extra scraps of sod on our neighbors' property, which took them 3 weeks to remove. On 2 separate occasions, when we had questions and concerns about trouble areas, they did not return calls or emails. I was only able to leave one message on their machine, then their mail box was full!
I emailed Wayne, asking him to please contact me and to see to his full mail box. As of September 9th, 2013 I have not received any response.
I would have appreciated some help, not left to figure out what is wrong with our sod on our own.
In hindsight, I would have chosen a more well known company that was insured and guaranteed their work.
Yes, the finished product looked amazing for 3 weeks. The fence installers commented on how well it was laid (wasn't shifting or sliding around). We have watered it religiously and kept our kids off of it for the rest of the summer. But customer service means so much to me. It has become apparent that they cannot back or guarantee their work. So I cannot recommend them.
UPDATED: October 14th, still no contact from Out on a Limb. The grass continues to decline. Dirt is seen in many areas and the patches of grass that did not take are now brown.
It appears their webpage no longer exists and their Kijiji ads have been taken down. Word of advice, do not to business with them!
