Interlocking Stone review in Ottawa

Horrible company! Did terrible job on our interlock. Having issues with our interlock for the past 3 years! Owner Gary came several times to look at the issues and always had an excuse why things were happening so he had his crew do band aid jobs to shut us up! This however did not work! Our interlock keeps lifting and the sand between the stone has NEVER hardened! I keep having to add sand every year but it doesn't work! I've had quite a few interlock companies come and take a look and we were told the job wasn't done correctly! I have contacted Gary about this matter several times and asked him to re do the interlock or I would have another company rip out the stone and re do it and I would send Gary the bill. Of course his answer was no! We are extremely disappointed with this company and will make sure people are aware of the terrible job they did! Now we have to hire a new company to do an entire new interlock design and remove the old stone. Stay away from this company!!!!!!!

Silverstone Interlock is a great company! They offer a warranty and this company actually stands by the warranty! We had a couple issues due to the ground settling we live in a brand new development! I called Gary the owner of Silverstone and him and his crew came to fix the issues right away! We are very satisfied and will be getting Silverstone to do more work for us next year!

Interlocking Stone review in Ottawa

My husband and I hired Silverstone Interlock last year. We met with Gary the owner after we interviewed several companies. He seemed very knowledgable and had some great ideas for our interlock design. Gary told us that he would be doing the job. That was not true. Gary did not show up once on the job. I showed him a picture of what we wanted done and he said that it wouldn't be a problem to do. That was completely false also. First of all he had his inexperienced workers do the job. They ruined my grass and left a huge mess all over my lawn. They didn't clean up after themselves whatsoever. The interlocking project was a mess. The step they built had gaps all in it and it wasn't leveled at all. We also had our porch refaced with a veneer stone. What a nightmare that was. It was done so terribly that I had friends and neighbors asking me what was taking the company so long to fix it. The sad thing was that the job WAS finished. I spoke to Gary (owner) to let him know how unhappy and dissatisfied we were with everything. He turned around and wanted to charge us extra to fix the mistake THEY made in the first place. We specifically hired him because of his so called knowledge and he offered a 5 year warranty. If you hire this company please don't listen to them when they offer a warranty because it means NOTHING! He also has on his website that he is accredited with the better business bureau. NOT TRUE! I checked the better business bureau website and it states that this company is NOT accredited with them at all. Worst company ever. Would not recommend them to anyone. We have hired another interlock company to fix the mess that Silvetstone Interlock left us with.

Just an update! Silverstone interlock wanted to make up for the unsatisfactory work that was done. Gary the owner met with us and he and his crew have fixed and replaced our interlock. We are now satisfied
