Roof work and stucco redone on our large home. The work quality was very good. There were some misunderstandings about followup, but several years later Barabco is coming back to do warranty work and further work that's needed on our home.

Roof work and stucco redone on our large home. Barabco promised to be "different" from all the other companies in providing top-quality work and being available for followup. The first round of work roof and drainage was OK, then we had the stucco completely redone. Immediately on completion we pointed out many areas where there were cracks and colour changes showing, and the work hadn't been properly done. The site manager reviewed the problems with me twice and made notes, and Barabco promised over and over to come back with the stucco man to fix these problems. It's been over TWO YEARS of repeated promises and they haven't shown up (except to repair one area where it was so bad that water was leaking through and a soffit was falling apart - they did fix that). They keep saying they'll come back and they done.
As well, we want them to address a drainage problem that showed up last winter from the roof drainage redesign (which by agreement is not under warranty, so we'll pay, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't show up to fix it). I raised this with them on February 18, 2011 when the underside of the roof was dripping water, and they promised to look at it and haven't done anything about it, despite repeated emails and phone calls from me.
I finally suggested (by email) on October 7, 2011 that I might need to post factual reviews such as this one on sites like this, and that prompted more promises to come and fix the problems, and almost 4 weeks later they still haven't come (as of November 2, 2011). Frustrating, and nowhere near in keeping with the promised level of service.
