After weeks of research on purchasing a latex mattress, I finally decided to go with Soma, since my two visits there 'window shopping' had indicated that they really seemed to know what they were talking about. I'm so glad I did! Tony and John were both terrific - knowledgeable, helpful and unfailingly patient and supportive, even when it turned out that the first mattress we bought wasn't right for us. Even the delivery men were a cut above! This was hands down the best customer service experience I've ever had and I will without hesitation recommend Soma to family and friends.

My husband was the one to deal with Matt and told me it was hands down the best experience he's had with a plumber/drain company. When we first called, they booked us on the spot for the SAME DAY (actually, they came within a few hours of the call and believe it or not, no extra charge for a Sunday visit!) The problem was pinpointed, everything explained in detail, the work done efficiently, and the problem fixed immediately. What a great company - the whole process was painless and, considering what had to be done (finding the problem area, camera work, snaking and again, a weekend visit) the price was extremely reasonable. We're going to use this company for any future plumbing problems and recommend them to everyone.

We were lucky in that Waheed was working in the area the same day we called. He came right over, took care of the problem with a minimum of fuss and we can now enter and leave our house without being swarmed! Would definitely use Pesticon again!

I had no idea six men could fit on our roof! The entire job was done essentially in one day with just a quick stop by the next day to finish off a few small things. The guys worked non-stop and efficiently - we felt absolute confidence in the process. Incredible attention to keeping everything clean - by the end of the day the place was so spotless, you wouldn't have known any work had been done. A tiny snafu about having the eaves done, as we wanted Jason to coordinate and expedite the process, but all was worked out in the end without hassle. We would absolutely recommend this company to friends and family.

Ty was hard working, enthusiastic and affordable. Takes great pride in his work. Booked us in a timely fashion - we were able to have our rugs cleaned a few days after we called.

After somehow managing to demolish our hanging dining room lamp by simply screwing in a light bulb, we bought a rather complicated replacement. Sean managed to squeeze us in at a moment's notice and was absolutely fantastic in every way. He put together the new lamp, was so meticulous that he carefully checked all the previous wiring (in two separate areas), hung our lamp beautifully, and charged us a very reasonable fee. He was a pleasure to deal with - not only a great worker, but one with a sense of humour! We would not hesitate to use him again (and definitely will).

This is the third time we've used Handyman Dan, and every time he's been fantastic! He took us through almost a full kitchen renovation and the experience was painless. He can do everything, and I do mean everything, and does it neatly, quickly and carefully. We now have a kitchen that looks like a million bucks, for a fraction of what we hear other people have spent! We're delighted and will definitely be using Dan again, if we can get him (he's busy but worth the wait)!

We had a difficult lamp installation which required the moving of a pendant lamp to a new spot in the dining room but which became even more complicated because of some problem wires (we now understand why the wires sparked before Dan got there!) Dan not only fixed the problem but was able to set up the light perfectly - not an easy task because of the nature of the lamp itself, which required a lot of tweaking and adjustment. He was careful and meticulous in everything and left the place spotless. Dan guided us on other electrical issues in the house and was extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of home renovation. We are going to be using him again in the Spring for a number of other projects, some of them major - he's a find!

Not only did Carpet Mill give us a great price for a pure wool rug for our staircase (including installation & underpad) but they also had one of the best selections in the city. The whole experience was painless from start to finish. Polite, personable, accommodating - they arranged for a timely installation (about a week's wait), the installer was an incredibly hard worker, personable and did a terrific job. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to everyone - well done!

If you have to wait to get Flavio... do it, he's worth it! We were the victims of a bathroom gut renovation gone bad - the bathroom was finished & suddenly we had ticking sounds, knocking sounds and the occasional loud thunk coming from both the hot and cold water pipes. Things were so bad that we couldn't sleep in the adjacent bedroom and were camped out downstairs on an air mattress. Six weeks after the reno was finished, the wall in the bedroom was still down to allow access to the pipes, the contractor had walked off the job because he couldn't fix the problem and three plumbers had come and gone without success. That's not even mentioning the two other plumbers we spoke to over the phone who implied that it was an 'unfixable' problem. Flavio came in with a totally new approach and improved the situation in a big way. It was NOT an easy job, but he did it and worked on it until the situation was improved to such an extent that we're finally back in the bedroom! Bruno the drywaller and general handyman was terrific too (I can't say enough about them both - talk about a dynamic duo!) I would never call in anyone else, not only because of their skill but because, along with everything else, they were both personable, fun, perfectionists and incredibly hard workers! Kudos!
