I started to replace a fan switch in my bathroom when it became clear that this project was beyond my skills. While it was a simple switch replacement I decided it was best to have a professional finish the task. I called Safe Electrical and I accepted their high flat fee to come out on an emergency basis on a Sunday afternoon. They came but while it was an easy task they said they needed to “troubleshoot” the problem and not just a simple switch replacement. After a troubleshooting which simply involved determining which wire was which and finishing the switch installation - the entire service took less than 15 minutes - I was charged an exorbitant service fee on top of the emergency flat rate. I am shocked that for such a simple task they felt comfortable charging such a high cost. I acknowledge paying a premium for emergency Sunday service but this was ridiculous. The service was prompt and professional but be aware of the cost of using their services.

Hi Eddy thanks for sharing your story, it is surprising to hear that even we have made it very clear to you about the Emergency service call on Sunday will be more then regular week day service call charges but you had decided to get same day Sunday afternoon service On ASAP basis . If you think it was a simple job so why couldn't you completed by your self or waited for a regular week day appointment. Quote was given to you before the service appointment so you had a choice to pay less. We glad to hear at least you have admitted about our prompt professional service.
