Regretfully not worth the savings
I heard from some other contractors that these guys had a lot of turnover so that probably explains why I've had a different experience than expected. These guys turned out to be the discount contractors that everyone is worried about. I'm left fixing many of their mistakes out of pocket, even after Karl assured me so many times that he would come back to personally do any touch ups. Mazin has since told me he can't afford to honour his 1 year warranty and asked for payment to fix basic quality concerns. Avoid these guys unless your project needs discount work on a house you’re flipping where basic quality isn't a concern.

I would like to start off by saying We strive to do any projects with any budget our clients might have and we ALWAYS get it done on time & on Budget. Our original quote was much higher and after going back and forth with you we were able to reduce the price by using lower costs on product to meet your budget.
We created a dormer out of your roof and while the roof was removed it was fully tarped however a tarp isn’t fully waterproof. Unfortunately we had a massive storm what we had zero control over. The damage you talked about was on a main floor bathroom ceiling was demolished for the second bathroom renovation. We would of repaired it but you had said not to due to the new bathroom downstairs going in.
As for the framing which we already discussed when new framing meeting older framing there will be some minor unevenness. The framing, plumbing, electrical and HVAC was all done by licensed contractors and engineer & ESA and finally all approved by the city. Please contact the city of Hamilton regarding your permit as the permit is fully closed and passed)
With all due respect Kevin, your comments are exaggerated. We have attended to all the deficiency items. I am sorry that you did not like “Rustic Non straight edge” the tiles that you supplied it has nothing to do with workmanship and I have walked you through this on site where I provided back $1000 Just to make you happy.
We finished the job on Nov 26. We sent crews out for repairs several times to keep you happy and after each visit before we left you said you were happy and then a week or two later you would complain again about something else and we would accommodated you and came back again. Some Items were not related to us, but still did it. The last time on site was March 3
Lastly, the reason why we stopped replying to your texts is because you got aggressive, especially passive aggressive and rude. I understand things can get frustrating but no one deserves that kind of treatment.
At the end of the day we built you a new dormer with a full bathroom for 20k less than any other contractor can and increased your home value by over 100k. We stand by our work and I truly believe there is nothing more we could do to make you happy.
