Thomas, Gena and crew did a phenomenal job on my basement reno (200 amp upgrade/ structural enhancements/ finishing a 2 bedroom apartment ). The quality of work was top notch and their work ethic was seen every day with them leaving the job site debris free! They took pride in their work and had great customer service. Not only were they on time, in scope and provided constructive design solutions when things needed to be adjusted, they came back to fix some deficits after their final payment. I was very pleased with this team that I had them start a second project building a new 1.5 car garage. I couldn't be happier with the projects.

Bruno was a pleasure to work with and honestly gave me confidence that the job was going to be done correctly. He helped bridge the gap between the inspector and contractors that was beyond his scope of work. MXL did all the drawings for my project including underpinning, walk out, garage and redesign of a bi-fold sliding doorway.

Igor started off the project professionally by taking all my requirements and talking through the pros and cons of each solution. Scope: 2 straight window replacement, one window enlargement and basement door replacement. Genadi and team on the install was phenomenal through the whole process. Talked through a potential issue on a window replacement that was not anticipated during the consult (as window was boarded up by previous owners). But they solutioned the problem on the spot after talking through my options in -15 degree weather. Only months earlier had I worked with a different company replacing my basement windows in my rental. Wish I found this team earlier, you get what you pay for and more with Comfortec! Great price and even better service. Find a good contractor and use them for life. Will be calling them when I need my upstairs windows replaced.

Engaged with Cliff on the basement underpinning and walkout and couldn’t be happier and impressed with the quality of work. His crew was friendly and pleasant to deal with their prompt 7am start everyday. You know you have the right contractor for the job when your engineer is impressed with their form design and quality of work, which Cliff and his crew delivered. While the project was slightly delayed from the initial time estimate, it was well communicated for legitimate weather delays. I have referred Cliff to family and neighbors and will be doing another project with Cliff in the fall.

I picked A&A Masonry after comparing a few quotes and Homestar reviews. Joe did a phenomenal job replacing close to 100 bricks and tuck pointing a 100 year old house, as well as fixing a brick column and parging the side of the house. He was friendly, professional and was able to get the job done right before the long weekend. The curb appeal of our house is substantially better and would highly recommend their services.
