Evgeny quickly diagnosed the problem with our leaking dishwasher. The problem was serious and not repairable so we purchased a new one and Evgeny installed it. I would highly recommend his services. He responds quickly to emails, does great work and treats your home with care. He's also super polite and easy to talk to. We've used a few different appliance repairmen over the last couple of years and they were okay but not great. We're really pleased to have found Evgeny and will definitely call him the next time we need an appliance repaired.

Century Aluminum replaced all of our eavestroughs and downspouts and added leaf guards. We were very happy with the work they did. Their prices are competitive and they have excellent customer service. We found everyone to be very polite and pleasant to work with. We asked the installation team to make a change to one of the eavestroughs after they had packed up their equipment and they did so without complaint.

Pesticon was able to come the next morning when I contacted them about squirrels in our chimney. They called to let us know that they were running late for our appointment which we appreciated. They assessed the problem and provided us with different options at different price points. They humanely removed the squirrels and installed mesh caps on all three of our chimneys. We were very happy with the work that they did and found them to be professional, friendly and courteous.

We first used C Mitchell & Son Roofing a few years ago to resolve a leak in our shingled roof. This fall they did our flat roof. Bill and Roy are very easy to talk to and they don't try to frighten you into a bigger job than is necessary. They and their crew are courteous and professional and know what they are doing. We landscaped our backyard last year and they were careful not to damage it. We appreciated that they slotted us into their schedule as early as possible because our flat roof was causing a leak into our attached neighbor's house. They show up when they say they will and are reasonably priced.

Dilullo Restoration repaired crumbling parging and brickwork on our house this past summer. The work was done well at a fair price. We found John very professional and easy to talk to. He provided us with with a detailed description of the work to be done and an accurate quote for what it would cost. His crew was unfailingly polite, punctual and tidy. We appreciated that John fit our small job in among his larger projects and took the time to give us helpful advice on other projects in our yard that we plan to complete ourselves. In short, we had a great experience with Dilullo Restoration and would not hesitate to use them again.

Mulligan's designed, built and installed a custom bathroom vanity and medicine cabinet for us. Our bathroom is like most in older Toronto homes: cramped and poorly laid out. We wanted a vanity that would give us storage while working around the location of the toilet and stack. When Michael and Kellye came to do an estimate, Michael immediately made several clever suggestions that no one else I had approached to do the project had come up with. Kellye was very careful to make sure that they understood what our needs were and what we wanted. The resulting cabinetry is beautiful, well made and extremely functional. Michael did a fantastic job of matching the stain of the vanity with that of the existing bathroom door. He also went beyond the call of duty by helping us with the botched installation of the counter top by another company. Kellye cheerfully responded to our queries promptly and thoroughly. The installers were experienced, polite and tidy. Indeed, everyone at Mulligan's was unfailingly pleasant, punctual and professional and they are the only company I would consider for any woodworking project.

We purchased a Corian countertop from Latitude for our bathroom. Our concerns were first raised when the company forwarded a copy of the drawing of the countertop template that showed measurements that were clearly wrong. We found the process of speaking to the gentleman who had taken the measurements to try to get clarification extremely frustrating. When the countertop arrived for installation it was too large for the space and the installers damaged one wall trying to make it fit. The installers measured the space again and took the countertop back to the shop for adjustments. Our credit card, however, was charged immediately for the outstanding amount of the countertop even though we did not have the said countertop. Latitude had our money and we had nothing. When the countertop was returned for installation the second time, it still did not fit and the new installer damaged another wall trying to force it into the space. He took new measurements. When he was finished making his adjustments, we were left with a one quarter of an inch slab of caulking between the wall and the left hand side of the countertop. When I commented that it looked terrible, the installer suggested I put something on the counter to hide it. On the right hand side, we were left with an eighth of an inch gap between the backsplash and the medicine cabinet. When three different people from the same company take measurements and this is the result, you realize that it's all quite hopeless. To sum up, I went to Latitude because Sarah Richardson had mentioned using them in one of her articles for the Globe and Mail. My recommendation would be to go somewhere else unless you are high profile designer.
