I must compliment Mike and his associate for outstanding professionalism. During the consultation he listened carefully to what my needs were for a floor. At the moment I need a walker or wheelchair so the floor and trim must be durable. I was able to select a beautiful floor that also meets my needs. Mike guided me through the selection outlining the pro’s and con’s of each flooring sample. I never felt rushed or pressured. The “lads” had the old floor out and a new one installed within four hours. They took care to protect the carpeting and other contents within my unit and in the hallways leading to my unit as well . They cleaned up nicely . They returned my kitchen to me as beautiful- no, more beautiful than it was before! I would recommend them without hesitation!

I must say I would highly recommend Sam and his crew. He listened very carefully to what we wanted and he internalized it so completely that at about halfway through the project I had to be hospitalized for a couple of days. I told him that if he needed a decision during that time to just go ahead and make the decision. Sam knew what I liked and what we required as part of the project and to just go ahead and make that decision, I would approve it. He’s scrupulously honest as are his workers Emerson and Carl. The “lads” are tidy and considerate gentle men. I genuinely mean that they are gentlemen as well as gentle men. The entire crew Sam included, made it very clear that they wanted to fulfil our every hope for this very large renovation in a condominium. Two particular items of note. The first and most important, we were renovating and retrofitting our condo for someone with disabilities and this was a very large part of the renovation vision. Sam, Carl and Emerson did everything they could to fulfil our hopes and dreams for our renovation. They would often go above and beyond, for instance in the bathrooms Sam would have the cement board backed with wood, not just blocked here and there. This means that if we find we need another grab bar somewhere we can install it with confidence that it will hold. This is very important for someone with this disabilities. I was very touched by how they thought through the entire project to give us the most value for our dollars. The second thing to note is that Sam was very well liked by the condominium management. They efficiently and on schedule delivered materials and removed debris without fuss. Sam worked with management so that there was minimal downtime to the rest of the residence caused by an elevator being reserved on service for deliveries and removals. The halls were protected so that there was no damage to the common elements as a result of our project. This was a great comfort to us. The final note worth making is that Sam quotes his project a little bit differently from most other contractors. Because of the way he has created his brochure catalogue he is able to group rooms together and costi them out, ask for his little catalog, he knows what each room will cost so you will not get a detailed quotation stating for example: 25 feet of baseboard 350 yards of electrical conduit and 95 ft.² of tile.; 30 ft.² of carpet plus under pad etc. etc. Instead Sam will cost out your vision, It will probably only run to one page and will list all the things that are important to you. For example for our project The quote stated convert main bathroom to spa shower with Carara marble style tiles, grab bars, comfort height toilets. Convert master bathroom to include 72 inch Whirlpool tub, comfort height toilet’s, tile floors and a make up area with mirrors and accent lighting. You get the idea. Then at the bottom of the page was the price. It was the price I gave him so we agreed on that once I realize that the quotation stated he guaranteed to do the project for the amount quoted. Sam never pushed to have us increase the project budget neither did he encourage or suggest items that were not in the quotation. Such items would of course be extra to the quotation. We did, in the end add on a few extra projects but it was the result of my initiation of the topic and a thorough discussion with Sam. Some of these suggestions of mine were acted upon some we decided we’re not necessary. I was extremely touched by his sensitivity to my desire to convert a bookcase into a library wall. The bookcase was nothing particularly special, but it was one of the last things my dad had made.so it was precious to me. The wall turned out beautifully. Every other contractor I contacted asked for what we had in mind, asked for what our budget was - which was a healthy budget and then asked if we could increase it by at least 20%.; Every single one of the Renomark listed contractors I contacted except for RenoWOW. If I had wanted to spend that much money I would’ve given them that number to begin with! The whole project experience with RenoWOW was as pleasant as one could hope for and with as few surprises as one could hope for as well. We were truly wowed result .
