We contacted Home Pro after spotting a deal on eavestrough cleaning. & ‘free’ roof inspection. Also we were very happy to hear they clean windows too for a minimal cost. Tori arrived on time and did a great job doing the task he was hired to do BUT....he inspected the roof and advised that 1) An animal chewed thru the plastic roof vents which created a hole in the vents 2) We required new vents with animal proofing ($800) 4) Advised the attic had mould and mould spray (?) can be applied to the wood 4) Water was leaking into the attic 5) Our attic insulation needed to be replaced. Stated he could fix all of it right at that moment for $4,000. If we did not do this today the price could increase because he would have to travel back to the house again (Pressure sales) Because I am a strong believer in obtaining a 2nd or 3rd opinion, we did not take up the offer. After careful review from more than 2 roofers it turned out Home Pro Exteriors was incorrect. There was no damage to the roof vents, no evidence of squirrels chewing through the vent at all or being in the attic. No mould. No damaging water stains/leaks. The insulation was fine. I DO NOT recommend this company at all.

A full home inspection was requested from AllMax to find out what the most important maintenance needs are for our home. AllMax inspected the house from top to bottom in 2 hours for a very reasonable price. Alan arrived on time for the scheduled appointment, was informative, and thorough. He took the time to explain everything to me as he assessed the roof, attic, masonry, plumbing, and electrical work, to name a few. He answered all of my questions (and I had MANY) with patience. Plus let us know that a roofer who had been to our house the week before supplied WRONG information and saved us from paying for unnecessary repairs! I can't tell you how much that is appreciated. I'm happy with AllMax's final assessment. I highly recommend AllMax and suggested the same to our friends and family. I really trust Alan's work because he is knowledgeable and sincere.
