Granstone demolished and completely renovated our 30-year old kitchen in 2017, and I still absolutely love it. During the renovation, a high quality (and beautiful) stainless steel Moser pull out faucet and double sink were installed. I had a follow up issue recently with a leak from the Moser faucet, and I contacted Granstone to obtain a recommendation for a plumbing company since Moser is not a commonly-installed brand. Hailey was very pleasant, responding to my email within about 10 minutes, and helpfully supplying the names of companies that install Moser. I contacted Liquid Copper Heating and Plumbing company and spoke with the owner, Rob Fyfe. Rob came by on his way over to a major job elsewhere, checked it out, fixed the problem in 5 minutes, and explained how it could be addressed if it ever happened again (even leaving me the correct size allen key). He wouldn't accept any payment for the work (and I tried!). I was once more very impressed by Granstone, and now I'm also very impressed by Liquid Copper.

Company Response

Thank you for the feedback. Renovations cannot always be a flawless process however, the Granstone team will always stand by to ensure any unforeseen issues are resolved. I am happy we were able to resolve the leaky faucet mystery.

I did a lot of online research to locate a company for our kitchen renovation – Granstone had the best and most consistently positive reviews, which were certainly deserved. I’m still very happy whenever I go into the kitchen and it was completed several months ago. We had a small kitchen that hadn’t been renovated since our condo was built in the early 1990s, so it was very outdated. We met with Solo at Granstone to find out whether they could do the complete renovation for us as we were looking for a ‘one-stop shop’ to take care of everything. Solo reassured us that they would take care of everything for the reno, and that Paige would work on the actual design and look of the kitchen. Paige was fantastic. She came to our place several times to measure and get a sense of what type of kitchen we wanted/needed, and then brought samples over based on our discussions and the overall look of our place (colours, design). Paige prepared an accurate project cost estimate that fell within our budget, managed the project schedule and coordinated the work being done. There was no time wasted, and the kitchen was essentially done in a two-week period in about 8 or 9 days of work. Granstone took care of demolishing the kitchen (with an outdoor bin for the debris), installing new floors (we went with cork planks), new upper and lower cabinets (all 'soft close' which we love), a completely new counter area with lower cabinets, quartz countertops, new Moser double-sink and faucet, mosaic tile backsplash, painting – so the works! Everyone on the Granstone team was amazing. In order of appearance at our condo: Paige, Solo, Dan, Jimmy, Joe, Kenny, Nino, Jason and Lucca. Everyone did a meticulous job, and they were also very careful with our place. (Every evening before he left, Joe vacuumed up any debris and tidied away everything in the kitchen.) Granstone also used reputable contractors; the electrical work was done by Alton, owner of AZ Power Solutions. Alton installed new pot lights, under cabinet LED strip lighting (which I’m particularly fond of – it’s a great ambient lighting, shows off the blue mosaic tile backsplash, and gets rave reviews from visitors) and installed several new outlets, and a light switch with dimmer for the pot lights; Alberto painted our kitchen beautifully and meticulously; and Kentie handled the plumbing for our new undermount double sink, which was not an easy job as it’s an awkward corner sink. We enjoyed meeting everyone on the team, and we're very happy with the way the work was done, and with our new kitchen.
