Disappointed in Mississauga

As the other reviewer wrote, we also went with Marlene because of the reasonable cost. She put shutters in our kitchen and blinds in the rest of the house. It didn’t take long before the balance’s holding up the blinds started to tilt and the cheap,plastic hooks holding it together broke. This caused the balances (top part of blinds) to fall and hit the floor. Marlene had to drop off extra hooks (some of which were wrong size and some already broken) so I could put them back up. The problem continued. One fell in the middle of the night and took a chunk out of the bedroom wall and new hardwood floor (not to mention scared us out of our sleep). repeated calls to marlene were ignored (she was on vacation for over 5 weeks) then when we reached her, she refused to set up an appointment time because “it wasn’t worth her time for a 15 minute job” and she would only come an hour notice IF she had a job nearby. She never apologized and claimed we had enough hooks to fix it (we used all the hooks from previous issues). The final straw was when she hung up on my husband when we were trying to square down a date. We are now taking the legal route.
