We asked The English Painter to give us a quote to paint the living room, dining room, kitchen, front hallway, stairway and downstairs bathroom. In addition, we had suffered a ceiling water leak that needed repair and painting. Gareth came promptly and had a good look in order to provide a detailed estimate which came within a few days. Carol was able to schedule the work within a couple of weeks to fit into a trip we had planned, which enabled Gareth and crew to have over a week in our house while we were away. When we arrived home, all painting was done flawlessly, and the house was spotless. We have never had such a great painting job, or such a clean work site. We have already scheduled The English Painter to paint additional rooms, and recommend him highly.

We used ACTION Home Services last year to do a complete back yard renovation and we were completely satisfied with the result. This year we decided to tackle the front yard, and ACTION was the company that we chose for the job. We had a detailed plan done in advance, and when we met with John from ACTION, he showed us where small changes could be made to eliminate any site issues yet improve the overall result. We are thrilled with the service that John, his Project Manager Ranat and the team did at our house. The project involved removal and disposal of a large cedar deck and all plants and shrubs, then regrading and providing new soil. This was followed by building a smaller composite deck, a cedar arbour, retaining wall and two flagstone patios. Finally the team planted the new plants, trees and shrubs which we purchased from a nursery. We had a landscape designer provide a detailed drawing of all stonework and plantings which Action followed perfectly, making suggested modifications where appropriate which in every case were embraced by our designer. John also installed a sprinkler system and landscape lighting to enhance the property. We had obtained price ranges for this work from our landscape designer and found Action to be very fair. I called Canadian Security Professionals as I found an excellent review of their service via an internet search. I spoke to Karla in their office and explained that I understood that having security cameras were known to be a significant deterrent to break ins. I already have a security system but living in a fairly busy area of central Toronto I was looking for additional security. After asking some questions about my house and its location, Karla was a great help in explaining the different options, and within an hour sent me a quote for four different camera and recorder packages. I called back twice to ask questions and agreed on a package to suit my needs. The installation was arranged and was performed on schedule, efficiently and professionally by Sherman.
