I received 3 quotes for my roofing job, which was for my house and detached garage, and although "Roofs on Homes" was not the lowest, they were fairly priced for the quality of their services.
Danny was the best to deal with from the start. He came-in and asked me about my project and what I wanted, then he got a ladder and went up to verify the roof and also checked the sofits. He looked to ensure there was proper ventilation in the attic and even went in the attic to verify. He was thorough and also took the time to explain everything and talk about options. He also clearly explained their business and how they operate, showed their license and certificates, etc...
I had one real lowball price and didn't even consider since the guy came to the house looked at my roof from outside (without talking to me first about what I was looking for), then knocked on my door and gave me the price and briefly explained what it was based on. They were using lower quality roofing (from company in class action lawsuits).
Roofs on Homes did a great job and a good clean-up at the end. They only deal with CertainTeed roofing products, which from my research have the best reviews out there.
There was one minor issue due to some of the existing roof boards needing replacement, which required my skylight to be removed and re-installed. This caused a bit of damages on the ceiling inside and a bit of a mess in the bathroom, but this was not pat of the original scope, so at the end they did a good job with the skylight and roof boards.
Also the subcontractor that they used for the eaves and downspouts did a very good job as well.
Thanks Danny and your site team!
