My plum tree was suddenly covered in aphids. The "honeydew" was covering the deck under the tree and my tenants wanted the problem solved yesterday. Thankfully I was referred to I Love Trees...the only company that was not only able to economically save the tree without spraying insecticide all over the place but also available to squeeze in the job during a very busy week. Wesley used an innovative injection method that took into consideration of the tree and the humans. He described a way to trim the branches back which would not only also help rid the immediate honeydew problem but also contain the spread of the black fungus. I wanted to replace my basement door and two windows so I called Gem. This is the third job that they have done for me. The door was quite challenging as it was at the bottom of a stairwell and needed to be custom made. The first company who looked at it didn't want to attempt the difficult project. Gem sent a man to measure the space and then I received a call from the owner of the company. He explained that the technician didn't think it could be done but after talking it through with the owner, they came up with a plan that would work. Unfortunately, there were problems with the first factory construction of the door. It had to be scrapped and reconstructed. After an extended period, the door was ready and was easily installed along with the window.
