I needed someone to clean out the gutters at my home, it has been about 5 years since it last got done and my gutters were coming apart due to the weight of the gunk buildup. I went on Kijiji and messaged several different gutter cleaners. Many advertised low rates, starting at $99 or $150 for whole house. I messaged a few of them to get quotes, and obviously no one honours the rates they posted. The people online asked for my address or pictures of the house, some quoted $2/sqft (in which my house is over 3000 sqft!!), others were charging up to $300 which was double the posted rate! I then came across Golden Opportunity's listing, in which they advertised they would even do minor repairs for free! I inquired further about the rate, I sent them photos of my house, and they agreed it would cost $150 all in. I needed my gutters done quickly, and they worked around my schedule to book me in for the first available date. On the Saturday they arrived, I met Des and Carol, a lovely couple who run this business together. They came right on time and started right away. I felt bad, as the gutters were in terrible condition and there was a lot to be done, but they told me not to worry and that it would get done properly with them, and they held their promise! Hours later, there were several garbage bags, I think over 7 but I lost count, of gunk and debris from the gutters, and then they finished off with a blast of pressurized water to ensure everything gets cleared out. Obviously it was a messy job, but they sprayed down my garage doors and cleaned my windows as a kind courtesy! Once finished, Des came back up to repair my gutters and straighten them out, and now they look like new and don't leak anymore! I was so impressed with their professionalism, they are genuinely hard working individuals that understand the value of a dollar. They don't leave the job until the customer is satisfied, and I surely was! I use Kijiji a lot for general labour or trade workers, and you never know who you can trust online. But honestly speaking, Des and Carol were the most honest people I have ever met! They aren't in the business of ripping people off, they just want to work to make money to support their children, especially the one going off to university soon! We formed a great relationship and they certainly earned my trust. I truly believe this company goes above and beyond for their customers, and trust that you will be in good hands! I would highly recommend them to my friends and family and others, and definitely use them again for other services as well!

Initially, I booked this company to spray foam insulation in my attic so that I could apply for the Enbridge Smart Savings program. I met Muhammad (the owner) a while back at the HomeShow in Toronto, and I was highly interested in his product--it was innovative, much cleaner than conventional methods, and effective. All he did was educate others without any sales pressure. When I was ready to complete the retrofits for my home, I gave Muhammad a call and he remembered me right away even though it was over a year ago when we first met, and we instantly became friends. He was kind, genuine, and all-round an honest person. He was very flexible with the scheduling, and we were always in constant communication if there were any unavoidable issues. His team came over promptly at the set time, they were very clean and respectful when working in the home. Extremely efficient and also gave me the best price possible on the best product, which felt too good to be true! I would highly recommend this company for anyone looking to add any type of insulation to their home. This company was wonderful to deal with, the product is at the highest standard, and the people are honest and courteous. Just call Muhammad
