We had Ecotech replace a circular window in our house and were surprised to find that the trim does not match the window size or shape! Per the picture below, the trim is mis-cut. jagged and not aligned to the window frame. The frame is 1/4" to 3/4" larger than the window all the way around. It looks just terrible. We also paid for colored exterior and they trimmed it IN A DIFFERENT COLOR! We've called the company dozens of times and they are very nice on the phone. We're told they are looking into our issue, but they never call back. We can only leave messages. We've been put off for months. It feels like this company ran once they were paid and have no intention of making this right.

We purchased one of the condo's to be built at Valley Farm Road and Hwy 2 in Pickering. Occupancy date was originally June 30, 2016 Latest estimate is Nov. 2018 but Marshall can delay another 120 days without penalty I'd only recommend this company if you don't really need the home you bought.

Hired K&B Guys (Vince / Anthony and team) to build a basement rental suite - to code. They did a FANTASTIC job! They let us do as much work as we could to save money, provided expert advice / assistance and their work was very high quality. They were on time, stuck to approved budgets and even cleaned up daily. We were so impressed, we hired them for another job.

Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
1. Hire an indpendent kitchen designer first versus going to a cabinet company designer so you do not limit your options. 2. Visit at least 3 cabinet companies to ensure they have the selection & expertise you need - they fit with your vision 3. Ask your contractor to SHOW their insurance coverage and license. We never heard back from most contractors who said they had this. If there is an accident on your property, you could be liable if they are not covered.

Todd has managed two installations for us at different properties. Both times he and his team were on time, stayed in budget, cleaned up and got the job done - no head aches! I love a contractor that says we can finish paying once the job is done AND we are happy. It was a pleasure writing the cheque.
