Our aging (> 30 years) garage door opener was becoming finicky, sometimes refusing to open the door, sometimes straining under the load. We had called Brad at Canyon Springs a few years back to fix a broken torsion spring and were happy with his visit then, so we called him back. Brad and his assistant showed up right when they said they would. They had a look at our existing garage door opener, said it was in excellent condition but for a saggy chain and suggested I reconsider the request to replace the machine! Nonetheless we had the opener replaced - Brad had the replacement with him right in the truck. All in all the time from he drove up until he was showing me how the new unit operated - maybe 75 minutes. Great job, great service at a fair price. I would heartily recommend Canyon Springs Overhead Door to anyone in the Tri-Cities area and beyond who needs any garage door maintenance!

On Wednesday our kitchen sink seemed to be draining slowly and by Friday it wasn't draining at all. We called Moe's on Saturday morning, based largely on their positive reviews on Homestars.com. They said they could by around 12:45 and have a look at our sink. Right on time Soroosh and his Dad (whose name I missed, I am sorry) showed up and went right to work. They were immediately friendly, respectful and authoritative. They came with an impressive array of machines, and proceeded to vacuum, power-snake and then pressure wash the guts of our kitchen drain and pipes. They kept us informed of everything that they were doing, and provided us with several preventative tips for keeping our drains clean. We were very satisfied with the job that Soroosh and his Dad did, and felt that the price they charged was fair. All in all full marks for Moe's Plumbing and Heating. The next time we need a plumber they will be our first choice. We would not hesitate to call them again, or to recommend them to our friends and family.

A year or so ago we called Amin to come and have a look at our fridge, which was not keeping food cool. He investigated the problem and recommended the simplest fix that could possibly work : just let the fridge thaw out for a couple of days and see if that fixes that problem. He didn't try to talk us into some unnecessary repair. He told us that this symptom is not uncommon and could be caused by many things, but we should try the simplest and cheapest thing first. I write and maintain complex medical imaging software systems for a living - Amin's recommendation is exactly the philosophy that I follow in my day to day professional life. As it turned out our fridge had a failed circuit board that had to be replaced, but I appreciated Amin's considerate and knowledgeable approach to investigating the problem. Just recently our dryer started making noise, and my wife called Amin to come and have a look. Here the problem was much simpler to diagnose - a faulty roller. He came in, found the problem, explained to us his options for sourcing a replacement roller, and returned a couple of days later (as predicted) to fix the dryer. Again he was knowledgeable, trustworthy, kept us in the loop, did what he would do when he said it would be done, and charged what he told us it would cost. I don't see you can ask for anything more. Full marks for Amin! I hope we never have to call him again, but it is re-assuring to know if we need something fixed that he is available.
