9/10

I had my main bathroom renovated by Your Reno Guys in April-May 2017. The quote process was thorough and informative. I liked that they had a standard flat rate for their installation services, and then I was responsible for sourcing my own materials. I was hesitant at first about being responsible for sourcing my own materials and how easy that would be. Other renovation companies will source everything for you, but their services were $3,000-10,000 more than Your Reno Guys. I spent an afternoon going to Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Rona to figure out how easy it would be to source everything myself and decided it was worth it. Your Reno Guys provided the behind-the-scenes materials, but I bought the vanity, toilet, bathtub, shower hardware, towel bars, and tile. It was well worth it. Your Reno Guys picked everything up for me so I didn’t have to incur a delivery charge. The reno started on time on Monday morning. Within 4 hours they had gutted the bathroom back to the studs and drywall. They had 3 workers there for demo day, then about 2-4 workers would come and go as needed throughout the reno. The workers were clean and always put down drop cloths in the morning, and vacuumed before they left. The first few days they were working full days, but once it was down to the tile, painting, and plumbing, they were only there for half days (approximately). If there was one thing I wish they could have done better, it was in communicating the length of the work. I understand of course that jobs can change in how long they take. But it went from being 7 days (where they would work Monday to Monday, including the weekend) to 10 days (Monday to the following Friday, where they did not work the weekend). I was using a friend’s bathroom so it wasn’t a big deal, but I would have rather been given the longer timeline in the beginning. About 3-4 months after the work was complete, the grout began to crack between the drywall and tile at the top of the shower. I brought this to Your Reno Guys attention and they came to fix it no problem; apparently it was supposed to be caulked and wasn’t, so they caulked it. The bathroom is very well done with quality work, and I will certainly consider using them for future work.

Approximate cost of services:
$12,500.00
