We bought a townhouse that's very outdated and required a full reno. After contacting numerous contractors and sharing our scope of work and budget, we decided to go with DDR. We appreciated Ioana's enthusiasm from the start. She managed the project timeline, material selection (we're very involved in this) and provided us with weekly updates while Luis managed the on-site work. The scope of work includes 2x bath reno, full flooring and stairs update, kitchen countertop update, popcorn ceiling removal, and interior wall painting. The project was estimated to be completed in 6 weeks because we wanted to move in before Christmas 2021. DDR handed over the house back to us at the end of the 6th week with about 90% of the work completed and the remaining work to be completed soon after the holiday season. There were some challenges with completing the remaining work due to personal matters, workers availability and backordered items. It was quite frustrating to deal with and took almost 4 months to get the remaining work done, but Ioana tried her best to make things work and we also tried to be understanding with her situations. Given our budget and the scope of work, we were quite satisfied with the result. There's a couple of things that require some fixing, but DDR stands behind their workmanship, so they're going to come back and fix them.

I have used Micro Moves twice in 2021. The first move was a very efficient 1.5-hour 1bdroom condo move from Yonge-Finch to Yonge-Bloor. The team gave me a 15-min warning before their arrival, which was very much appreciated. The second move was a much bigger task, took over 5 hours because we had a lot of stuff. I was skeptical that all of our belongings would fit in their moving van (not a truck), but they magically made it work! They even fit my 3-piece patio set that I told them not to bother. The 2-person team, led by Nigel, was very positive and upbeat throughout the move. Our new house has a lot of stairs, so it took a lot of toll on these guys, but they never missed a beat! I highly recommend Micro Moves for condo/small-scale moves!

I met/talked with 3-4 contractors before I chose to work with Zeev to renovate my mother's 615 sq ft condo: full kitchen reno, upgrade flooring, painting, and pot lights installation. His quote was fair and he was able to start (pretty much) immediately! Throughout the reno, Zeev was able to navigate through the complexity that the condo building management posed. He kept me up to date with the reno progress and set reasonable expectation. The end result was great, the reno made the condo unit look a lot bigger and brighter than before. Thank you CSG!

ARNI technician helped my mother install/mount an over the range microwave, which posed a bit of a challenge because her newly renovated kitchen cabinets weren't cut to fit the microwave. The technician had to spend a couple of hours trying to figure how to mount it properly. My mother applauded his tenacity and perseverance! He also fixed her Whirlpool washer afterwards. Overall, she's very happy with ARNI's service and the price was reasonable considering the amount of extra work that the technician didn't expect and had to do. Will use their service again!
