Our nearly 30 year old furnace needed replacing and Thomson came in with the most reasonable quote, and adjusted their schedule to get us slotted in as early as possible. The rep, Rob, was easy to deal with and provided a very detailed description of the work needed to be done. We went with the Daikin 2-Stage model and it is running wonderfully. I can't believe the difference in how quiet it is compared to the old one and the house heats up a great deal faster than before. Mostly, I cannot say enough about how great our installer, Drew, was. He was prompt, courteous, and meticulous. The installation looks incredible, especially given the somewhat cramped space and old building constraints that he had to deal with. It looks far more tidy than before. Drew went beyond our expectations. After installing the chimney liner (on a very slippery roof), he set up the electrical connection for the unit as good as any electrician I've seen, including running a new line for the thermostat (this is coming from a guy who's father was a career residential electrician), custom fit all the sheet metal work so that everything fit perfectly and fixed a leak in the back of the heating riser off the furnace that must have been there for years. The piping he ran for exhaust and air intake is top notch, as is the drain pump hosing. To top it off, he did a great job of cleaning up. Drew is an excellent installer! I would highly recommend Thomson for your HVAC needs!
