I was very happy with the project manager (Jason) and the crew who did this work. It was done very quickly and it appears to be done correctly and professionally. Communication was easy and prompt. I have no complaints. There was a bit more damage to our floors than I'd anticipated, but the reasons were explained to me. They were helpful and accommodating as much as possible. Thank you!

My basement needed new drywall, flooring, doors, paint, toilet and tile after a flood. Eduard and Eddy are a dream to work with! Eduard quoted on my project and Eddy did my whole project (with just one or two helpers on a couple of days). In addition to the price above (labor and some products), I spent about another $3,000 on flooring, tile, the new toilet and leveling of one floor (cement). Eddy was on time, pleasant, hard-working and did quality work. Whenever something new or unexpected came up, he quickly adapted at a reasonable cost. He did a couple of things at no extra charge which I really appreciated. He was happy to pick up & deliver the products I wanted from his local store. Throughout, Eddy sought to do the job correctly and to a high standard. I am very happy with the final result and I am happy to let others know about ESP construction's excellent work. I am very happy with the finished result. Felix (a sub-contractor of 5-star) worked hard and did a really great job. He started several hours late due to the rain but he finished the job on time. I am also very happy with how quickly Five Star got the job done (within days of the quote) since I was planning an event at the house and wanted it finished within 2 weeks. I am less happy with the 'sales process' part of this job, which had nothing to do with Felix. I got a verbal quote of $1200 from a sales person (in person). Then I received an emailed quotation with a price of $1250. I immediately sent it back for correction. My last name was so butchered I hardly recognized it. Nobody had asked me how to spell it. When Felix arrived, he didn't have the work order (I was told by the salesperson that he had it). He didn't know that the paint was included and he didn't have the names of the colors I'd chosen with the salesperson. When he received the work order the next day, he received the original (wrong) higher priced order. I gave him the correct one. Attention to these details matter! They inspire confidence when they are handled professionally. When these details are messed up, it creates doubt about having made the right choice. In my opinion, the $2.50 Tim's card I got for 'a coffee' on them also seemed cheap. If you are going to give a signing bonus, make it five bucks at least. I cannot award this company 5-stars due to the nonsense with the quote. I absolutely give Felix and his team 5-stars for the work they did. He went out of his way to please me with the finished product and he remained pleasant throughout, even though he knew and understood that I was not impressed with the company itself and it's lack of attention to the details.

Denis and his crew did a wonderful job on this project this summer. I would definitely recommend them. The price was a little higher, as it happens, than some other quotes, but once we met Denis, we knew that we wanted him to do the job. We found him on HomeStars and we only considered highly rated companies. We tend to think that you get what you pay for, so we didn't mind the slightly higher price. Denis is very dedicated to seeing that the job is first rate and that the customer is happy. We are also dedicated to having a top notch result if we are going to do something (and pay a significant amount for it). It seemed logical to pick Denis and his crew. We were using the last of the money my deceased mom left me, to get this work done, and I wanted to know that she would've been happy with the result. It was important on many levels. We are very happy with the final result. The quality product and workmanship are evident. Denis was very responsive to any concerns we had and he was easy to reach. The crew was very pleasant and professional. Denis has reached out to make sure that we are still happy and he stands behind his product and service. The job got off to a later than anticipated start, due to the crazy spring weather of 2018, but it would have been true of any company, I would think, with all the wind and rain in the spring. It was worth waiting for.
