When we first moved into our home in Bloor West Village, my husband and I hired Zion to build us two units: a garbage/recycling unit and then a long narrow unit for the organic bin with lots of spare space to hide all the random crap that makes the side of your house looks messy! Since then, we discovered that we needed a third unit to house rakes, shovels, spades, the leaf blower... The third unit got installed yesterday and looks awesome. While he was there, Zion re-leveled the other two bins. Zion made great suggestions on the best units and because of the narrow space between our home and our neighbours suggested bi-fold doors which work great for such a small space. I highly recommend Zion for his workmanship, promptness, and attention to detail.

We met Anna at the Home Show last and managed to get a design meeting with her in the early spring of 2013. My husband and I are very particular about everything and we were actively involved in the entire process. We wanted to transform our 25x50 backyard that was simply sod into a mature lush oasis. Anna designed a beautiful back yard space. The sod and dirt removal took two days, and although we ran into some rain delays, everyone persevered. Once the job started a couple weeks later, Cassie took the lead on the installation of stone and plant materials - that took 6 days in the sweltering heat wave. The end result is spectacular. The barnboard slabs that Anna sourced for the lounge patio are unique and look amazing; they complement the flagstone for the dining patio. We did our own irrigation, lighting, and water feature to help manage the costs. We originally budgeted $20K for the project, however, we ended up coming in at $50K. The overages were worth it as we have an incredible back yard in the city. Guests are overwhelmed at the transformation. I highly recommend Park Lane for their dedication and professionalism.

The standard poured concreate sidewalk, pavers, and horrid scalloped garden edging needed to go! I learned about HomeStars from a friend of mine and that's how I found Paul in the Fall of 2010. He was committed, friendly, and stuck by his quote. He came up with a couple creative options that met my budget and design needs. The final outcome was great! A couple weeks after the project was completed I decided to add two more layers to the dray-stacked wall that divides the walkway from teh front garden. Paul still had some stone but it was too late in the season to do the work. During one of the nice weeks in April Paul showed up and did the job. It was so nice to come home to a completely finished job. Highly recommend Paul and his team.
