I've already had Jonathan from the Shock Doctors out about a month ago for significant upgrading of my electrical panel and to add outlets to accommodate heavy duty appliances. I was so happy about finally getting my house up to code, that I called them back, asking if Jonathan could help me install a range hood that just was not going well with just my son and I trying our best. A kind and helpful friend had already tried to help us by creating an outdoor vent, and ducting to the range hood. When Jonathan took a look at this duct work to ensure that it was insulated and sealed properly, he noticed that one of the wires (the black one) that would attach to the range hood had been nicked by one of the screws holding the outdoor vent to the wall. He said it most certainly would have caused a fire. I am so grateful that he had seen that, as it was higher up in the wall than where the actual wires would come out of the wall to attach to the range hood. I'm just glad my son and I couldn't figure this thing out, and called The Shock Doctors in the first place. Next time I need anything electrical done, I will call them first, rather than trying it myself or having well-meaning friends help me. Thank you, Jonathan!
