Had an old deck removed and new large deck built for walkout. Could not be more thrilled with the level of service, attention to detail, and quality of the work.

Extremely pleased with the design and build of our new dock. Came in at considerably less cost than other contractors and exceeded expectations in what he delivered. He built the dock in little time and was transparent with his costs. Can't recommend him highly enough and will use him again for future projects at the cottage.

Brought my son's Samsung phone here and he attempted to fix it. Unfortunately, after a couple of hours, replacing the glass didn't fix the problem. He gave me the phone and my money back, indicating he wouldn't take my money if he couldn't ensure I was happy with the service - even when I offered to pay him for his time. This kind of focus on customer service is rare and I will go back to him in a second for any phone/tablet repairs in the future. Highly recommended.

Arbitrary policies that other retailers don't have. Misleading text on web site. Not recommended at all. Will never use them again and will recommend everyone I know to avoid them.

We bought a disaster of an air conditioner for our first house. I wish I could find the guy listed here. I don't even think he's in the yellowpages anymore. Anyhow, after that we were a lot more cautious with the next purchase. Advantage did an amazing job, not only selling us the best (and quietest) air conditioner ever (a York), but they took over the service from the builder on the furnace and have done an outstanding job. A1!

We've bought plants at Vandermeer's for a number of years as well as Christmas trees. A few years ago we bought a birch tree for the front of the house and had them plant it. Not only did they come the next day, but they really took the time to make sure they planted it where we wanted it and were happy with it. That tree is thriving in the front yard and looks amazing. Will definitely be buying trees from the again in the future.

We used Ontario Duct Cleaning for both of our houses and have been very impressed with them. I think the best thing I noticed was the time they took to clean out the dryer duct of lint in addition to cleaning the ducts. The service person was very knowledgeable and did a very thorough job.

A pipe burst at the back of one of the upstairs toilets and ran for about 5 minutes flooding the washroom. The water ran through the vents and into the dining room below. The result was thousands of dollars worth of damage to the ceiling, walls and hardwood floors. Almost the entire floor had to be replaced through the first floor. CRCS was fast and courteous, bringing in their drying equipment the next day. They did a brilliant job with redoing the ceiling and keeping the drywall dust contained so it wasn't all over the house. I was really impressed with the work they did and the contractors they hired.

The shelves and rod fell apart in the walk-in closet in the first house, so I was forced to find a fast solution. I walked into the Solutions store and discovered that I could customize the closet in whatever way I wanted without having to buy one of those pre-made solutions. It was a brilliant idea and, although a little on the pricey side, a solid closet unit that I was really happy with. In the new house, I'm still trying to figure out how I want to design the closet (it's bigger), but I definitely plan on going back to Solutions.

Pretty much everything we buy through costco is of superb quality and the eurotop mattress set we bought was no exception. The product was amazing and there were no issues with delivery. And one thing I want to note about this costco is that if I have to return anything, they do without question. We shop there every week. Love this place!!

We bought our second home from Brookfield and they were a far cry from the builder of our last home, both in quality, attentiveness to detail, and customer service. We bought a lot of upgrades with this house and they really went the extra mile to ensure we were happy with what we purchased, as well as very accommodating about changes we wanted done with the floor plan. I would buy from them again in a heart beat!!

We bought our first home from Baycliffe Homes 10 years ago in Whitby. The decor centre was based out of the model home and there was limited selection to choose from. All in all, I wouldn't say they're a poor builder, but they are on the low end when it comes to extras. My one big beef with them was that they changed the colour of the siding of the house from yellow to pink without telling us and refused to credit us or make any changes, despite the fact that we intervened when only a few strips were put up. So we were forced to live in a pink house with no apology. I wouldn't buy from them again.

We've been using them since our house was built six years ago. Thankfully, we've never had a serious incident, but all accidental alarms have triggered an immediate response from the company. They're very fast to respond and I plan on sticking with them for a very long time.

We used them for our first house and loved the California shutters so much that we used them again for our second house. They're very professional and the quality is second to none. Would highly recommend them!!

We had to install a new wood burning stove at our cottage last year and we did quite a bit of research on our own. We called around a couple of different places and these guys were the only ones who were able to offer the price and model we were looking for. They were courteous and knowledgeable and did a phenomenal job with the installation. The other thing that I liked was that they didn't charge us for the quote. Another company out this way charged us for the quote. I highly recommend Northern Comfort. Good people to work with.

I found everything I was looking for! Inexpensive, easy to put up, friendly service. The choices for rods and curtains was great and anytime I have a problem, they repair at no cost. Looking to put up curtains on a budget - go see them!!!

Brilliant design, and really easy to work with. Have recommended Matt to others and each one speak very highly of him. Will likely look to him to finish the basement as well.
