Quick, freindly and effecient! Thanks to age, rain and baseballs in the gutter we had some challenges. Roof on Homes was congenial, fast and very knowledgeable. We had other quotes where we were told we had to replace our gutters but the reality was a quick repair and tune up and problem solved. Thanks guys!!

We had a dishwasher and OTR microwave repair. J&J came recommended to us from another appliance company we found on Homestars since we needed Microwave repairs. Mike was professional and efficient fixed some of the dishwashers issues. He tried to fix the microwave but did not have the part so he was going to check with his supplier. Here is where it went downhill.....I had to keep following up with him to get an update. Texted him and no response. Called and spoke with him and he mentioned his supplier advised the part is discontinued and he will get back to me end of the following week which did not happen. Texted again and no response. Had to call him again out of frustration and he said he tried to call me which I have no record of and would be able to track. Said he was still checking with his supplier and have not heard from him since and moving on. Just come clean and tell us you are not interested or you cannot get the part rather than have me chase you down.

McLaughlin Flooring was our final choice after reviewing 3 quotes. The reason we went with them was because Rick was straight forward and honest. More importantly he was flexible and had a solution for any issue we came across. The floors and stairs look great! Rick and his team was a pleasure to work with. Rick's goal was to ensure we were happy at the end, which we were. Would have no issue using him again.

Second time we used Elvis for our roof. This is also the second time we have called someone to fix the hack job the previous roofer did. Elvis was able to find the matching shingle and walked around and fixed the other issues. We went through another windstorm not too long ago and so far so good. Thanks Elvis!

I received a call back and was disappointment to hear that they do not provide service in our region. What made me post a review was the fact that they took 10 minutes on the phone to explain to me what the issues could be and walked me through it. They did not have to do that and did not even have to call but did and that to me is customer service!.

I thought it was me who had issues with Continental Roofing. I read something on Red Flag Deals about them being good and thought I caught them on a bad day. Nothing is his fault, it's always something else and we have had 3 repairs done. The 3rd time I gave up on this guy and looked into others. We still have more repairs and he is on our do not call list. He uses shingles that don't even match for repairs, upon inspection from 2 other roofing guys they all said his work was poor. His signs are still around and he has a website but does a website make you legitimate? Thank goodness for Homestars, I can share my frustrations.

Called Elvis for a soffit repair and within 4 hours it was fixed. He went out of the way to look for the missing piece and saved us money. Personable and knowledgeable, he gave us the facts on the poor condition of our roof and what needed to be done. He did not give us the high pressure sales pitch and told us we can wait until just before next winter to fix. So far so good and will be calling him in the fall. Thanks Elvis.
