In 2003 we added an addition to our home and needed to install kitchen cupboards and an island. We hired Monaco Club and Design as they had one of the cheapest quotes and we were a little short of money at the time. Igor talked us into making the island smaller, which in hindsight we wish we hadn't done. He didn't give us a detailed contract which we should have insisted on. In the end we received cupboards which are serviceable but were not constructed with 3/4 inch boards as we requested and also a soap tray under the sink was not included even though it was in the diagrams that were drawn by the representative Igor.

In 2003 we were planning to add an addition to a two story house we had recently purchased. The house was originally built in the early 1950s. We spent some time using a computer program to create our own plans and showed them to Mr. Rubinoff. We received our blueprints in a timely manner and Mr. Rubinoff was friendly and accomodating and also helped us to get our permits quickly. We would have appreciated more suggestions as to some changes that should have been obvious. For example, in our original plans we had a washroom with a door opening out to the kitchen. A contractor friend pointed out to us that wouldn't be very esthetically pleasing. Also, a door leading to the new rec room being created was not in a convenient spot (right by the furnace) and I later had to create an opening where, I believe, any architect would have thought to be much more useful. We basically received our own plans back in larger format.

We added an addition to our home in 2003 and Casey put the vinyl siding on for us and also replaced all the eves troughs on the original house. He was very professional and amiable and took pride in doing the job right. He managed to find enough material of the correct colour in order to put eves troughs on our garage as well when we asked him to do so near the end of his job on the house.

They did a through job and cleaned up after themselves. They were good at recommending when we should follow up without being overbearing. They did not try to sell things that we didn't need done.

I was very impressed with the initial visit from Case Bella. They were the first company I called and was VERY impressed by their price and service. Being a good shopper, I had to do some comparison shopping and was shocked that CB was not offering me the same warranty as others but at the same price. I was well into negiotations at this point and had decided to go with CB when I realized that they were omitting the warranty part of the discussion. After several harsh calls, I got their price to where others were offering and was happy with the service. I was also not crazy about having to paint so much trim work as, for some reason, my windows did not fit directly into the existing frames. This did not seem to come up with other companies. But maybe, that too was hidden by them.

I was amazed at the job they did in my sons bedroom where the floor looked irrepairable. My floors are 50 years old and have never been refinished. They brought them back to life. And I was happy that they called me every step of the way. There were concerns about my new railing and they checked with me before they proceeded. They could have been better on the follow up where I wanted more attention to sanding details on banister which is why I am not giving them a straight 10.
