We hired Jamie last year to do the initial mudding and taping of our partially completed basement, mostly exterior walls. He did a wonderful job, so when we completed the interior walls and the drywall ceiling, we hired him to complete all of the mudding and taping, as well as the priming and painting. In addition, he sprayed all of the doors and we will be hiring him again once the trim is in place to spray that as well. The job was fairly large - mudding and taping of a large multi-room ceiling as well as a handful of interior walls, painting of numerous doors, priming of the walls and ceiling in the entire basement, as well as painting of both the ceiling and various rooms in several colors. The photos speak for themselves in the quality of Jamie's work. Specifically impressive was the attention to detail in our custom cove ceiling, we're super happy with how it came out, making even a few really rough drywall areas look perfect. We've been exceptionally impressed with Jamie's dedication, craftsmanship, and hard work. Jamie and Pam are both super friendly, and very communicative - he tells you when he's available, on his way to the job site, and departing via text. In our case, given the size of the job and number of days required, we simply left him with a key and he would let us know when he would be working, arriving punctually and cleaning up the site at the end of each day. He uses some of the latest tools and was happy to spend the time showing us how he does his magic, with very little dust. The job was very reasonably priced for it's size, and we're very pleased with the outcome. We've subsequently recommended Jamie to a number of folks looking for both painting and drywall work and wouldn't hesitate to do so again. Thank you Jamie, it's been a pleasure and we look forward to having you back to finish up the trim work.

We are in the process of finishing our basement - we did the framing and hung the drywall, but past experience told me to hire a professional to do the messy and difficult work - the mudding, taping and sanding. For this stage in the project, it was mudding taping and sanding the entire exterior walls of the basement (including around four windows), and one-side of the interior walls for six or seven rooms, plus several bulkheads. All in, it was a huge job - a very large basement approximately 1700 square feet in size. I did an extensive amount of research, received multiple quotes, and we selected Call Jamie to do the work. While his quote was right in the middle of the range we received, I was incredibly impressed with his communication and customer service - he was the only one that offered to come out and check out the job in advance, introduce himself, and give us some background on his experience, processes, what and when to expect the job to be started and completed. Jamie's quote was timely, fair, and inclusive - and his cost on materials was less than I could buy them for myself. Start and finish dates were scheduled and he was timely and very professional. But, what I can't speak highly enough is his craftsmanship. When we installed the drywall, the job was good, but not great. By that, there were some imperfections in corners, and the drywall around the windows needed a lot of love and some raw talent to clean up with mud and tape. Jamie's extensive experience in mudding was evident - the job looks superb, and even after a full coat of primer we only have a few very tiny imperfections to correct - astounding given the size of the job. Truly a remarkable talent - one of the best drywall experts I've ever worked with. Best of all, Jamie delivered this project entirely on time, and exactly at the price quoted. And one final note - he uses a set of tools designed specifically for drywall, one of which has a large vacuum attachment. In my experience, sanding is a nightmare with the dust. While there was still some mess (that he cleaned up), I was blown away with how little dust was created for a project of that size. We have another large drywall project coming up - all of those rooms need the other side of the walls done once the insulation is completed, as well as the entire ceiling for the basement - you can bet we'll be using Jamie again. I'd happily recommend him to anyone looking for drywall work.

We used Stone Edge last winter for our driveway (no walkway), and they were consistently prompt and frequent. It probably helped that most of the homes on our street in Riverside South also used them. Nothing but good things to say. Will use again next year. Price was reasonable given it was no additional charge for the three car driveway vs the standard two car. I don't remember the exact cost, but it was around $300 for the whole winter, I believe.

We have done two projects with Granstone over the past couple of years. The first was in a townhouse, a difficult Quartz install with a large L, a large island, and an extended piece with a U cut out of the middle. We also had them do two bathrooms. The L was supposed to be seamless, but when they went to install it they realized that someone made a mistake and it was brought in two pieces. Granstone remedied their mistake and had that section re-made, and while the mistake was annoying, their customer service and remedy without any pushback was great. When we moved into our new home last November, we had the builder not install the Granite and chose to have Granstone install Quartz after the fact. This is a huge kitchen, three massive slabs, plus three bathrooms. They did an excellent job again, at a very reasonable price for the amount of Quartz we had installed. A few little scuffs to the wall and a cracked piece of casing which we were happy to fix. They made a small mistake which we noticed on the sink a couple weeks later, one of the bathroom sinks was the wrong color (close, but not quite right). Granstone came back and happily remedied the problem, even sending a plumber to re-hook up the drain lines afterwards. We'll likely look to be doing our laundry room next, and it'll just be a small piece of Quartz, but we'll be working with them again. All of the installers, Paige, Hayley, and company, wonderful to work with. Highly recommended.

Deeply unhappy with Websters (and our new home builder). We purchased a new, $700K+ new home which closed in Nov 2016. Websters was the HVAC contractor, and the company we have been working with as part of the post-warranty service. They subcontract to various other companies. The quality of the install is awful. We have had no less than five service calls to the house to date for various HVAC related issues, everything from bolts in the furnace fan, to water leaking from the intake of the HRV system (condensation buildup leaving pools of water on our basement floor - but apparently that's "normal"). The HRV was reportedly improperly wired as noted by one of their subcontractors on his latest visit trying to figure out why our A/C wasn't cooling the house, and he simply disconnected the HRV and said that "Sean at Websters will come back and fix it" because it was causing issues in the furnace fan. On the same visit, he had to recharge the coolant on a 4 month old A/C unit as it was either leaking, or was not properly refilled after the A/C was moved prior to our move-in by Websters (they originally installed it in the wrong location). But now, Websters sent in a "report" where they are claiming to our builder that our warranty is voided because we "re-wired the HRV" - which makes no sense as we've never touched the HRV wiring whatsoever. Websters is a deeply untrustworthy company to work with. We are continuing to fight out battle after battle with them, and our builder, over basic HVAC installation quality. Do not recommend, do not deal with these folks.
