I highly recommend Morandin Plumbing. I have relied on David for help many times over the years and I have always been pleased with the quality of service I received, often on short notice. David has always provided excellent customer service and communication and has been helpful and quick to reply. He has gone out of his way to accommodate my challenging schedule and has been professional, friendly, and has done quality work that has stood the test of time. He has always left everything clean and tidy before leaving our home and Ive always appreciated his quick response times and efficient follow-up as well as his knowledge and professionalism, and I have found him to be easygoing pleasant to interact with. I live in an older home, with older pipes and fixtures, and not much disposable income. For each job, he assessed my issues and suggested the most cost-effective ways to manage my repairs. When possible, he would offer a couple options, and was always mindful to accommodate my tight budget with fair and reasonable prices, rather than trying to pressure or convince me into a more expensive option than i could afford, even for emergency repairs. I first reached out to him for help in a panic several years ago. He was referred to me by a trusted friend after an emergency situation in which the the pipes for my outdoor water supply burst through the winter months and the faucet and hose bib needed replacing as a result. Water had been leaking for a while and my utility bill for that cycle had almost doubled. He arrived on short notice to save the day and explained how to prevent the same problem from happening again in the future in a way that I could understand, rather than overwhelming me with technical terms and explanations - and he took the time to actually show me all the steps which I appreciated greatly. After that positive experience, Ive always turned to David for all my plumping needs - usually in emergency situations. He came to the rescue to help replace a corki valve and adjust the piston on our basement dual-flush toilet that was having a constant steady leak. And he helped out when the kitchen cupboard under the sink was filling with water faster that I could keep up with the bucket under the pipes. He replaced our kitchen pipes and adjusted the faucet and taps so that they would not need to be replaced fully, saving me money and also correcting the direction of the handle which was installed backwards some years earlier. On another occasion, he replaced a broken inner nozzle on our upstairs toilet after water started shooting out of the tank at the top! While he was at our home, he also checked the water pressure and helped make a quick adjustment in my downstairs bathroom at no additional cost. During that visit, he helped me to understand the water pressure issues in my home and offered tips to work around those without the burden of excessive costs. He has even been kind enough to offer tips and cost-effective tricks when I reached out with questions for quick fixes that I could do myself, and offered helpful advice on what to look for at Home depot and how to save money on smaller parts and items. Over the years David has truly gained my trust by providing excellent service and always keeping his word. I am keeping my fingers crossed for no more plumbing issues unless he moves the company back to Toronto!
