We hired Cam and his team to help build our dream home near High Park. All of our heating and cooling was designed, installed or organized by I Heart Heating. We went from an inefficient and wasteful traditional setup to a state-of-the-art, economical and modern heating and cooling system. I Heart Heating installed radiant floor heating throughout the entire house - the floors look amazing (polished concrete), are toasty warm in the winter and our heating bills are a fraction of what they used to be. The entire in-floor heating system (and our hot water) runs off of a natural gas powered boiler, and each floor is controlled by a separate thermostat. They also worked with Climate Experts to install a forced air system. It's mainly for cooling, but it also kicks in if the radiant heat system can't get the house up to temperature quickly in the event of a sharp drop in temperature. Like the heating system, each zone can be set separately. Last summer was brutally hot, but our house was comfortable and cool. As part of the system, I Heart Heating also installed an ecobee thermostat that can be managed using an app on my smartphone. It allows us to monitor the temperature of the house even if we aren't home, which is fantastic. It even checks the weather outside and adjusts its settings accordingly. In addition to looking after all of our heating and cooling needs, Cam's team also hooked up our natural gas BBQ (no more propane tanks) and our backup generator (we'll have warm floors and a comfortable house even if the power goes out). Building a new home isn't exactly stress free, but I Heart Heating took the guesswork out of a huge portion of the process. Highly recommended.
