My wife and I had decided to install hardwood on the main floor of our house (nice java coloured Ash). But we needed to get the tools to install it (we were doing it ourselves). We looked in many stores and compared prices, we happened to be in the area of the Rona and decided to take a look there. We found exactly what we were looking for. The Hardwood floor gun came with 200 nails (2 gauge steel) and the package also came with a finishing nailer and Brad nailer. We had the help of some of the staff while finding the tools. It was great, good price and good service.

We purchased a new house and were moving in the following 2 months. We spent a lot of time shopping (Urban Barn, Pottery Barn, Structube) and we just couldn't find the right dining room set. We decided to take a chance and we went to Leons Furniture in Whitby. They had a sale on dining room sets, we found the perfect table and chairs (counter height with a lazy Susan and seats for eight). The price was great and the service was even better, they delivered it right when we wanted it (we had it shipped once we were moved in). I would recommend looking at Leon's when in the market for furniture.

General Paint store located in Pickering, just off Kingston Road has amazing service. I was looking for a certain type of paint, paint for the trim and paint for the hallway walls and walls leading to the second floor. The staff was great they offered their help right away, they showed where the paint I was looking for was located. They also gave me a great deal on both cans of paint (I believe one of the cans was half off), saved me a lot of time and money. I would recommend them to anyone. The quality of the paint itself is great as well. Easy to apply, found that none of their paints dripped, also easy to clean. Great products, great service.

We purchased a new house about 7 months ago, we happened to notice while we were in the basement that the furnace (a Coleman) had a lot of rust on the front face of the unit. We contacted our builder and they placed a work order in for us (which was great). When Prima arrived they looked at the furnace and advised us it was surface rust, they further advised that there is not much they could do, because the rust was surface rust they indicated that the furnace was installed dry and that they builder may not have kept the basement as dry as it should be, they offered to sand off the rust on the furnace and spray paint the area they sanded. We're not too impressed with this company's lack of explanation, because looking at the rust it seemed that there was a leak at some point....avoid this company when possible....but at least they tried to do something...

My Furnace stopped working one night in the Fall. After searching around for a decent company I came across an ad for Aire One. The price of a Lennox Furnace including installation was just the right price. The installer came in and removed the old furnace creating a minimal mess in the house. They then brought down the unit and installed with little or no damage to the house (which was great). Its great to have heat again and they made it easy.

Installing a gas line for Gas stove in a new house in Ajax. Went to the Home Depot on Kingston road (just east of Salem and Kingston Road), needed to get some pipes and valves for installing a line in the house to run to the Stove. The plumbing dept (where the gas pipes and equipment is located), the staff were excellent, the store was busy they made sure that we had the products that we needed. Also went out of their way to cut some lengths of pipe for us, great service, they also threaded the ends of the pipe that we needed and they made sure we had enough elbows for our project. They took to take care of us although the store was extremely busy that day (at least the plumbing section was).

Recently I purchased a Poang leather armchair from IKEA in North York, Ontario. Its not easy to find an affordable and comfortable arm chair. My wife and I looked around so many furniture stores trying to find a good arm chair without much success. Recently IKEA had a sale where they take care of the PST (Provincial sales tax). We went to the store not really looking for anything specific....however we saw a dark brown leather Poang in the distance. We immediately sat down and it was the most comfortable chair any of us had ever sat on. The dark brown of the leather looked nice, felt soft but durable as well. The chair also has a "springy" quality to it which adds to the comfort. I would recommend this chair to anyone who is looking for extreme comfort at an affordable price. The wood frame of the chair comes in about 4 colours (beech, birch, a dark oak colour and black)the leather is available in dark brown black and a lighter colour. We love this chair.
