This has to be the worse company I have ever dealt with. I ordered a complete dining set as well as, a bedroom suite. I had originally planned more but, it became obvious that this company promises they will "take care of you" and never do. It was originally supposed to take 5 weeks to receive the dining furniture (I was told this multiple times by the owner Pat) it took 10 weeks! I was assured that the absolute maximum amount of time was 6 weeks. When 6 weeks came and went I called and they said, who told you 5 weeks it will be at least 10! I had explained that a special event was planned and that I had been told without doubt that the furniture would arrive before this event. I spoke to multiple people including the owner several times and then finally got a gentleman on the phone who said, "they promise you whatever you ask to get the sale". He was sorry for my trouble. The furniture for both rooms was supposed to arrive at the same time so, there would be one delivery fee. That was another joke! When I spoke to a lady she said, my delivery for my furniture would be two separate days and therefore, two separate charges. This meant I had to take two days off of work! So, almost $300 in delivery fees and missed wages my furniture arrived! But, that isn't the end of the story! The furniture that arrived wasn't what I ordered and it was damaged to boot! The quality wasn't what I had been shown! I called immediately both times as well as, emailed both the owner and his son, Mark. Amazingly, no one would return my calls. When I finally did speak to the owner he told me, "I'm going to take care of you". If you have dealt with these guys this is their favorite saying. 5 months later I still have the wrong furniture that is not the quality I ordered and is broken and damaged!!! I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone not even someone I didn't like! Also, I wanted to add that they charged my credit card again after I had paid in full without my consent or authorization. They would not reverse the charge and gave excuses and finally stopped returning my calls. I found it very suspicious while reading positive reviews that some of the reviewers had the same names as sales team members and family. I wonder about the validity of these positive reviews when my own experience was so, horrible. To date I have stayed home 7 separate days for deliveries scheduled and repair services that never happened. I can't believe this company is still in business!!

When renewing my home insurance I was told that due to the age of my house I had to have an inspection. When the inspector came he told me that I needed a new roof and my bricks required point and tuck. I couldn't believe it when 3 days later a letter arrived from my insurance company (the same carrier for the previous 20 years). It was a notice of cancelation! I was given 3 weeks to replace my roof and have the brick completely fixed. A friend of mine happens to be a roofer and he was able to fit me in in a pinch. So, I had a new roof but, I had no idea how I was going to get the point and tuck done on time. My friend recommended Cummins Restorations. He told me he knew the owners personally and that if anyone could help me in the limited amount of time and do it right - it was Cummins. I called the number he had given me and left a message explaining the work required, the timeline and the insurance sending the cancelation notice. I didn't realize I was calling a cell phone number but, almost immediately Brian Cummins himself called me back. He appologized for not answering the phone as he was up on scaffolding. I was in a bit of a panic as you can imagine. He told me not to worry that he would squeeze my house in (no matter what) before the deadline. He came the following day in between two different jobs to give me the quote and the following week he came to complete the job. He also rebuilt most of the chimney (which the insurance guy missed). This turned out to be a blessing because when the same inspector came back (astonished to see that the work had been completed on time) he told me that if I hadn't had the chimney done then he wouldn't have given us a pass. Cummins Restorations went out of their way to get this done as quickly as, possible, for a reasonable amount of money (the insurance guy figured it would be quite a bit more) and on top of all that they caught something that was potentially dangerous and would not have passed otherwise. Oh, and they left the grounds as neat as, a pin! A big "Thank You!" goes out to Brian and his team for all their help. Sincerely, Laura M
