We shopped around for a painter and saw many of his other jobs and admired the quality of his workmanship. His prices were better then I expected and he and his crew cleaned up everyday. I would definitely recommend him and he made good suggestions about colours which I happily adopted.
Installed new flooring in our new home
Bert was hired to install the floors in our home by the developer Phelps Homes in Grimsby, ON. Bert would consistantly miss our appointments. We were unhappy about his tiling work, and he never called us back or communicated with us about our complaints.
Interior and exterior home painting
Domenic does excellent painting primarily in Oakville and Mississauga. He has incredible attention to detail and keeps a clean work area. He was very pleasant and reasonable to deal with.

Making a brand new second bathroom
Unique Renovations has been fabulous. We liked Ewan's suggestions. He was very professional and personable. We are going to be hiring him again for our next project.
The sales staff was very helpful and the selection was excellent. The delivery was on time and they removed my old furniture without any damage to walls or carpet. I have sent others who were also satisfied.

Service was good. Always followed up on sale. Have extended warranty available. Very good at taking care of warranty if any problems occur. Quickly taken care of. Would recommend to others.
Sears has convenience. They have a reputation for standing behind their products but I question the 1-year warranty on large appliances. I would not use their carpet cleaning service again as they contract out. When I had a problem with a 2-month old vacuum cleaner, the sales person would not help.
The decorations kept their value over time. I still occasionally use them. They have nice ideas. I would be a repeat customer.
Independent,energetic. Brought some new ideas, reasonable price. He gave good suggestions and provided product for the price point.
Over-priced and would not return to fix leak in newly constructed basement. Would not listen to owners and even wanted to choose colour of paint.

I get all my supplies including paint etc from them. The service is very good and they always have what I ask for. I was looking for a supplier that carries excellent products. Michael and John are very knowledgeable, helpful and professional.
Framed our rec-room, walls and sub-floor
The owner is very knowledgeable and experienced. They corrected an error to our satisfaction. The framers did not do a level job on some parts of the sub-floor. They had to come back twice and correct the problem without any complaints. Pricey, but you get what you pay for.
I was looking for furniture in several stores and hadn’t found what I was looking for until the Bay. The sales staff was great and very helpful. They compared prices with other stores and I found theirs to be worth it. I have bought several appliances (small) from them and I have been completely satisfied.
Our basement renovation project started in September and lasted 6-8 weeks. Rob is pretty good at getting his trades people in on time for various phases of the project. His trades are good. It was our second project with Rob. The project was a little on the expensive side, but we are happy with the results.
Had four estimates and they were the best. They spent the time to explain what was needed and what they were going to do.
I find there's quality in their products. They stand behind their products. If any problems, they don't hesitate to refund. From time to time they have exceptional sales. For decor, they're very current, keep up with the times and always with class.
Superior service by managers who care about renovation needs, budgets and time constrictions. Rush orders are accomplished on time. We shop at Rona because of the quality of the product and the people. Service is a point of importance and they give it. Go there!
Poor service. Home Depot contractors took a long time, used wrong tools, refused to use scafolding, leaning off ladders, tools with missing parts. Saw blade missing teeth. Poor attitude! Did not clean up. Showed up, whenever.
Went to see about getting new bathroom sink installed. Told it's simple, we don't do that. I had also asked previously about kitchen counters and was told I needed exact measurements. I was basically brushed off in both cases.
No complaints. On time. Good clean up. Arrived on scheduled time. Came with all required fittings. Knowledgeable tradesmen. Good, efficient and did very good clean up.
My service at Home Depot was adequate. I will probably go back because of the proximity to my home.
Everytime I go to Home Depot you can't find anyone to help you and when you do, they don't know their products. We asked 3 people before someone knew what it was. People who work there should know their products.
Installed ‘Barker Tile’ to replace worn tile in bathroom area. The employees were not familiar with the product. It was difficult to install because the walls are not square. Finished look is like real tile, but there is not enough choice in the style and colour available.
Very fast and professional. No nonsense and easy to work with. A bit sloppy in terms of paint on the woodwork.
Moe's furniture store on South Granville Street has interesting rustic furniture. It has many pieces that are imported from China. The selection of furniture is very eclectic.
Artur is very personable and professional. His girlfriend is a designer who gives great colour advice.
Very frustrating! They really took me for my money. I picked a particular fireplace from their brochure and they brought the wrong one. And after it was installed it did not work properly. They came back to fix it over 6 times. Sears kept sending the same company and I wasted so much time and money.
Always a good place to shop for home improvement needs. The products are of reasonable quality and the service is good. The hours of business are great.
I like shopping at the Home Depot in Langley. They are very helpful with lots of employees to assist. I would highly recommend it to friends and family. It’s spacious and it has everything you need. The staff is knowledgeable.
Moving from one home to another

We purchased custom Silk draperies. The home consultant gave us good ideas, brought information to our home and helped us choose what would go with our decor. They gave us a quote, stuck with it delivered on-time and followed up to make sure we were satisfied.

The floors were recommended by the company, knowing we had children and dogs. The floors were ruined because they did not stand up (within weeks) but company refused any responsibility. We are now replacing floors at our cost.
Their designs were what we were looking for. They touch all aspects of designs to our home. They did a very thorough job. They completed the job in a timely fashion.
carpet cleaning downstairs and bedrooms
They did a good job. The carpets came out perfect. We had lots of stains and they did a great job getting them out. Very happy with them.
Their store is neat and tidy and very organized. Not enough cashiers when needed, especially when there is a sale. Can either find what you need in the store or look in their catalogue for either yourself or for a gift for someone. Have shopped there for years. Has everything you need.
Didn't arrive in time from shipping warehouse in other city. Delivered additional week after receiving phone call. Saleslady was very nice and helpful. Would recommend again.
Did window covers and flooring and everything was great. Will go back almost every weekend and will finish home renos with them. Recommend friends to go. Fleetwood location needs upgrades and Richmond looks great.
It was a dark and stormy night and my kitchen was in horror shows. I went to Rona for help and the service was very nice. They helped me design my kitchen and I was happy. But alas I got no free 5$ gift card.

I walked in and saw the unit in the store. The owner helped me by answering all my questions. He phoned me just when it was being delivered. When the delivery person scratched it, he came and repaired it.
Installed cork flooring in apartment
Cork Flooring – love the product. Excellent tradesmen. On-time. I would hire him again in a second. Worth every penny and top-notch job.
The quality of the futon from Ikea is not as good a I expected. The price is a little high. In addition, assembling took me a lot of time.
For well designed simple furniture, Ikea is obviously a top choice. Although not high end products, most are well made. Assembly is well documented so the parts fit. Finally, good return policy with warranty.
No one knows what they are doing. I usually know more than the sales staff. The self-check-out is good. The only reason for going is they carry the supplies I need. I prefer going to Rona because they do have knowledgeable staff.
The owner of the company was very personable and a good salesman. His crew were polite. Unfortunately, there was no respect for the job timeline. When things went wrong, the owner pointed fingers & took no responsibility despite not finishing the job. He felt he should be paid in full. It was a disaster.
I am not sure who Susan in North Toronto is or what she may be referring to? Perhaps if she contacted us directly we could resolve this matter. We are not in the habit of leaving matters unresolved or not confronting issues.
Very professional. Took lots of time to custom design. Good follow-up. Excellent product. Very good at correcting problems and making sure customer satisfied.
I found out about them via flyers in the mail so I thought I'd hire them to do our garage reno.I called Better Business Bureau to find out more about them, and BBB had no information on them at all (a good sign). They had to take out the old walls in our garage and put new drywall in, our garage door had to be replaced, and they painted the finished work. Everyone says the garage looks good! They were neat workers, they did the job quickly, there staff was pleasant.
Bought all our materials for a bathroom project. Ok Service. Some people helped, some did not. Spotty service - only one bad experience with one person, most are very good.
We bought pipes for our bathroom. We also bought sinks and a tub. Home Depot had everything we needed. They are versatile and have always assisted us with our purchases. I have been purchasing from Home Depot for the last seven years and plan to continue doing so.
Plumbing - Fixing Electrical Tank
Hot water tank went on 'fritz'. We needed to find out what part needed replacing. As this was at cottage, we went to the nearest Home Depot because an electrical tester was available that had been used before that is the same brand. We were able to find the tester, repair the hot water tank and wash the dishes within 2 hours. Thanks Home Depot!
They arrive before they suppose to be there. They are very detail-oriented. The price is competitive. Very Clean job done. They offered interesting solutions, tips and advices on maintaining the prestine state of our windows. The products are high quality and excellent. They are very informative. They are able to create such good communication relationship with their customers. We have re-hired them again to do our basement windows! They are just THAT amazing!!
When it came to marble, ceramics, countertop and cabinets, Kitchen Designer Plus was great! Everything I asked for was done and more. They have top quality products! I would definately hire them again for other projects. Frank the installer was more than great!

I was really happy with Canlik's work. They installed the products I chose in a timely and professional manner. The sink was also replaced. They did the plumbing as well and I was very satisfied with the end result. People have commented on the work saying it was a job well done!
The one thing that I really liked about them is that they were very careful to look out for my landscaping. They were respectful and reliable. Very clean. The gentleman who gae the estimate was kind and didn't treat me like I was stupid. I'm going with them again.

Found them through design shows. Kitchen and livingroom/den renovations. Our kitchen is devine. He co-ordinated and co-operation was great. They were a great source of design and store info.
Detail oriented resourceful did follow-up tidy cleaned up after themselves. Customer assurance was exceeded stuck to budget. Good quality products clean easy would deal with them again.

The features designs of our new home are really beautiful and the quality of the workmanship is very good. They gave us many selections for upgrades and there subcontractors were very good. Really responsive to our complaints and very quick to correct any issues.

This company is very disorganized. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Because of delayed service with furnace maintanence I suffered intolerable air condition due to fumes for several days & nights.
Got many quotes and this companies was the best priced. They were very fast and they did a lot of extra work without asking and without charging extra. The solved and unexpected problem not included in his estimate for no extra charge.
