We recently engaged House Depot for a new boiler installation for our home for both radiant floor and older radiator heating. They were competitive in pricing and very responsive; within one week, we had the new boiler quoted and installed! We also found Mark and Amir to be very professional and knowledgable. Mark went above and beyond to help us install a new thermostat and ensure it was working before he left. We highly appreciate the team's expertise and professionalism and highly recommend this company!

Asked them to come out and covert the existing house capped gas line to a BBQ quick disconnect supply line. They showed up promptly and Mike identified that the shutoff was under the deck, which made it difficult to use. He headed out to get parts, came back, made the changes, had to search in our messy closet for the conversion kit, so he could test it before he left. Flawless and excellent service. Thanks Mike!

As far as renovations go, this contractor is about the best of the best. The design work was outstanding with the designer understanding our needs and coming up with an excellent use of the space. Also given the space, she convinced us not to do an open show, and we went with glass to give the open feel. Excellent advice. The work was done on schedule, on-time, and with a focus on high quality. Due to a miscommunication regarding the open shower, the floor was raised for waterproofing. Once we identified that was not what was wanted, the raised floor was removed ... no issues. Mehdi and his team are consummate professionals, and absolutely a pleasure to work with. There will be our go to contractor going forward!

When we needed to stain our new fence and shed, we didn't want a stain that would peel and crack, and we didn't want one that would require us to re-apply every few years. Our designer recommended Cutek and their Canadian supplier Benchmark Building Services. We needed the cedar and green lumber fence to color match. When we went to Benchmark we met Antonio - wow, this is full service old style: Antonio explained the product, and even took colours and applied them to green and cedar lumber to ensure they matched. Very, very helpful. I am sure you will agree, the end result was a total match and we were extremely happy with the results!

We recently used Green Apple Landscaping for a complete back yard transformation. We are absolutely delighted with the end result and would highly recommend Green Apple for the following 3 reasons: 1) COST -- We found the cost to be very reasonable, but more importantly transparent. We don't mind paying more for certain things that are important: great design (see further below), structural longevity and high quality materials. From the initial design phase and through every step, we had conversations with the knowledgeable Green Apple team to understand the alternatives and make the best informed choice. This distinguishes the average from the exceptional; we feel that Green Apple had the knowledge to know all the options along the cost spectrum and provide us with the information necessary to make our own decisions. We always felt we had choices in terms of prioritizing our spend. 2) GREAT DESIGN -- We have a very small city backyard that needs to serve multiple purposes. We had to have storage for a motorcycle and all the corresponding technical requirements involved in maneuvering a large piece of machinery through a tight space. We subscribe to an alfresco beach aesthetic, which is a fancy way to say we really wanted to maximize our green space. We had several quotes and numerous discussions with other landscapers to discuss our vision. Green Apple won us over with their focus on form and function. They were the only company to invest the time to take exacting measurements of our bicycles, patio furniture and BBQ, to look at the property from all sight lines and to have detailed conversations about the plants that we liked. The result is they have created a space for us that fully fits all our needs and our lifestyle. 3) QUALITY -- We feel that people who are passionate about what they do are the best kind of people. Green Apple fosters that passion in everyone who works there. Their people do the right thing just because it is the right thing to do. This comes through in the way they treat the job site as their own as well as the companies they select to deal with. The result is attention to every detail and high quality throughout. If any of these elements are important to you, you cannot go wrong with Green Apple.

Thanks for the great review Gerry! It was a pleasure working for you and Megumi. The job looks great. I hope you enjoy it for years to come.

You did an amazing job staining your fence and shed, and your do-it-yourself designed and installed irrigation system really puts the commercial versions to shame.

Boris came to quote and review the existing furnace, providing helpful information. His quote included 10 year parts and labour on the furnace. Overall, his quote was the best of 3. On installation day, the installers called to say they would be about 1/2 hour late. Once they arrived, they were careful to cover everything, they quickly removed the old furnace, and installed the new - no mess, no fuss. Job well done! Thanks to Boris and the team!

Chris of Mr Rooter arrived with 45 minutes of my Sunday call. Our kitchen sink had backed up with water from the second floor washer - no amount of plunging would clear the clog. Chris quickly assessed the situation, and snaked the drain from the second floor to the stack. Voila - the clog was cleared! Thanks for coming out on a Sunday evening, and being so cheerful!

Kelly Tree came to trim our backyard maple, and feed our front city owned maple. They took the time to review each tree, discuss it's current condition, and then carefully pruned and removed all the tree branches. Great work, by people who seem to really care about the welfare of trees!

I was refacing a wall with stone, and capping the top with limestone as a spring project. The particular stone was not generally available, and Mason's Masonry seemed to be the only supplier. I created a detailed visual describing the project, and ordered the materials. I was told at the time it would take 3 weeks - after many calls and 2 months later my materials showed up. But they were missing all of the corner pieces, and a section of the limestone cap was broken. Again another huge delay with many calls to get the complete order. Instead of replacing the broken cap, they did some type of glue on the stone, which leaves a visible and unsightly crack on the cap. I emailed the president, Graham Mason, detailing the whole experience, and received no reply. I finished up the wall, and it looks good, but it was frustrating dealing with Mason's Masonry!

We were looking to replace our 2nd floor bay window in our turn of the century home. Because of the size and location on the 2nd floor, we decided to go with a wood window from Home Depot to ensure we would have the support of a large company in case there were any problems post installation. After I had removed the interior trim, they sent someone out to measure the opening, and then ordered the custom window. On installation day, the contractors were having difficulty installing the window. Turns out the opening was narrower at the top (standard for old brick houses), and the window wasn't fitting. The contractors proceeded to force the window in place, so much so that the center pane was severely deformed from the pressure. The next day, I called the project person at Home Depot; she personally came out and was shocked at what she saw. She immediately remeasured, ordered a new window, and had it replaced within 3 weeks. (They had to totally destroy the old one to get it out). Thank you Home Depot for making a bad job right!
