Dmitri provides the complete package. He has a pleasant demeanour, keen attention to detail, excellent tile laying craftsmanship and a strong commitment to protect homeowner’s property (He laid down protective construction paper in the driveway where he was cutting tiles!). Last but certainly not least, he has established relationships with large tile retailers that offer his customers substantial discounts on tiles. I highly recommend Tilestars and would not hesitate to use them again.

I hired Mr Handyman to drywall, tape and mud the kitchen walls and ceiling ready for painting. The execution left a lot to be desired; the job was quoted at 2 days and took almost 3.5 days because the technician was executing 2 work orders concurrently running back and forth between different job sites. The delay in completion required me to reschedule the painter. The quality of the work was also poor as the painter had to re-sand portions of the ceiling and walls to achieve a smooth surface for painting. I would not recommend this company for drywall projects and for other projects would ensure that they are not working on multiple jobs at the same time. Update: Subsequent to my initial review, Ron reached out to me to discuss my concerns and how they can do better in the future. He was genuinely interested in my feedback and we had a good conversation about my experience. I provided a few suggestions on how they can improve the overall client experience.

…then Invision Hardwood & Decor is the place. From the initial consultation in the well laid out showroom, it was clear that Dov genuinely had the client’s best interests at heart. He took the time to understand the objectives and vision of my main floor renovation, went to great lengths to explain the benefits and drawbacks of the different wood floor options and offered practical advice taking cost into consideration rather than simply attempting to upsell the most expensive option to meet my objectives. When I needed to delay the installation date by a few days due to challenges with other trades, Dov did not get irate or push back. He listened and understood the reasons for the delay, explained his concerns and agreed to work with me to accommodate my request. After some back and forth, we agreed to a mutually beneficial revised installation date. The solid hardwood installation took a little longer than expected mainly due to difficulties encountered in removing the existing floor tiles, however, the end result was an awesome looking floor with the stained original hardwood floor in the living/dining room perfectly matching the new hardwood floor on the rest of the main floor.

...look no further than Sapphyre electric. Nicola was very quick to respond to my initial inquiry and subsequent questions pertaining to rewiring and installing potlights in my kitchen. Over the two days of installation, Basil arrived exactly when he said he would, took the time to explain his approach and kept me abreast of his progress. He even suggested some changes to my design that made it more efficient and gladly replaced the potlights for a different colour even though I had not been explicit in my request upfront. I highly recommend Sapphyre electric and would have no hesitation in hiring them for future electrical projects.
