We hired HQR to paint our entire main floor, upper floor and all new trim/moulding for the main floor. Adam was great! He scheduled us in, started on time and finished the job 1.5 days early. He kept the job site clean, put his tools away and kept the house safe. We have a 3 year old so that was appreciated. We knew what style of trim we wanted and he actually took the time to bring us some different size samples from another job with similar trim. We actually changed the trim size based on the samples and his recommendations and it saved us money! We already had some un-tinted paint and he was willing to use that in an effort to save us money. He had some cost savings ideas in regards to the paint that helped out as well. We had several contractors quote the job. HQR was not the cheapest but they were far from the most expensive. I would say that their pricing is fair and value for what you pay is incredible. Adam also did the best job of fully detailing the project, timelines and breaking out costs. Trust was a big factor, especially with all of the horror stories on HGTV. He was easily the most trustworthy and that went a long way in our decision. We could not be happier with the work. Our house looks better than ever! We have already referred him to my parents where he completed a full bathroom overhaul that they are ecstatic about. We are in the process of bringing him back to complete our kitchen back splash. If you are looking for an honest contractor who does quality work for a fair price this is your guy.
