The entire team did a great job. We had the existing structure demolished and a new stone patio, pergola and fence added. Some of the nicest stonework I have seen. Pictured below is the stone inlay. (Matt likes a challenge.) They were quick to address and correct any small issues. If you are going to do a big project, don't cheap out. A retaining wall or weeping tile can make a huge difference. If you have challenges in the future, chances are that's the price you pay when you don't pay full price. Having a team like Green Side Up that understands how the materials will behave, will certainly increase the longevity and beauty of your investment.

Company Response

Mr. Jameson,

Since the first time I met you and Tina, last October, through the winter and into early spring while talking through the final architectural designs, I knew that this project was going to be a fun project and more importantly, I knew that you both were going to be great people to work with!!

Here is a short video I took of your project: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IndzStuOcII

On behalf of Matt and team, we want to thank you very much for your hospitality and generosity while building your project, and I personally want to thank you very much for putting your trust into the Green Side Up Contracting team, and I also wanted to thank you very much for your kind words and for your business.

Perhaps you will invite us back in 2018 to install Tina's dream pool ;-)

I contacted Nusens as I was seeing brick flaking away from my chimney. They explained that this was because water was getting in the bricks and new mortar, flashing and caulking were needed. They came and did just that. Six months later I noticed brick chips on the ground and holes in the chimney. I contacted the company and was told that the bricks were now the challenge and water was getting into them as they were patterned to match the rest of the house. Now I'm back at square one with a chimney that's still falling apart and $2,000 lighter. The so called warranty is not worth anything.

The contractor was hired for a large commercial job. Unfortunately they could not figure out part of the job and ended up walking away from the entire thing. The work they did do is sub par. They wasted a great deal of my time and money.
